This train-the-trainer workshop is targeted to:
• Those who wish to provide oral health literacy education for families and have the capacity to
train others through community outreach: e.g. public health dental hygiene practitioners,
RDHs, EFDAs, dental providers, dentists, health educators, nurses, etc.
• 6 hours of CE for dental providers are approved through the PA Academy of Dental Hygiene
Studies!
Also for Head Start/Early Head Start Health Coordinators, education managers/specialists who will
support use of this curriculum; for practitioners with the capacity to train others, especially family
engagement specialists, family advocates, and home visitors who work directly with families.
REGISTRATION: The Registration Fee for this special workshop is waived. There is a materials cost of
$25.00 per person when registering (valued at over $125.00). Lunch is also included. Register on-line

EXPECTATIONS AFTER TRAINING: The PA Head Start Association expects you to provide training (at
least 1) for a Head Start program in your community within 6 months of being trained.
