CPI welcomes professionals to participate in monthly meetings where they can socialize with other professionals who share Catholic values, discuss topics relevant to our faith & professions, and enjoy spiritual nourishment under the guidance of Roman Catholic priests. A team of select priests will serve on our panel of experts that attend the meetings on a rotating basis. CPI welcomes college, graduate and professional students, and all professionals, whether currently working, in transition, or retired. “The Pornography Epidemic: A Catholic Approach” with Margaret R. Drungle, MA, LCPC, Psychology Saturday, March 28th at 6:30 PM Margaret R. Drungle is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor. Her mission is to empower lives with respect, dignity and integrity in a healthy, nonjudgmental, caring environment. She integrates Catholic doctrine with sound clinical practice. As a therapist, she believes it is essential to continue growing in her faith in order to treat from a holistic approach to integrate body, soul and spirit. She attends retreats, conferences, seminars and training workshops to incorporate Catholic family values into her practice. She was invited to attend a healing conference for priests and bishops, with a few clinicians present. Since she follows the teachings of the magisterium, many priests refer clients to her. She also receives referrals from Catholic physicians/psychiatrists who appreciate, trust and welcome her approach. Margaret received her Master's degree plus 30 doctoral hours in Clinical Psychology from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology. She has extensive experience with individuals, couples and families as well as innumerable debriefings at crisis interventions in corporate settings. She also has a degree in Business Management. Her understanding of the corporate workplace allows her to understand both the personal and professional life in order to assist in integrating health in both areas. She resides in Naperville, has 3 adult children as well as 5 grandchildren. Life experience gives her an additional window through which she has gained understanding and wisdom. Note: Wine and heavy appetizers will be served throughout the evening. St. James at Sag Bridge is located at 10600 S. Archer Avenue, Lemont, IL 60439, near the intersection of Routes 83 and 171 and just off Sag Bridge. The meeting will be in Sag Hall, the first building on the right just after entering the iron gates. Admission is free.
