Notice of Annual General Meeting to the Members of Parkinson
Society Maritime Region for the Fiscal Year 2014
Friday, March 27th, 2015
Park Place Hotel & Conference Centre Ramada Plaza, Halifax, Nova Scotia
Please note that the Annual General Meeting of the members of the Parkinson Society
Maritime Region (“Organization”) will be held at 6:00 pm Atlantic Time, Friday the 27th
day of March, 2015 for the following purposes:
A. To approve the minutes of the Annual General Meeting (for the fiscal year 2014)
by the Members of the Organization held on April 11th, 2014;
B. To accept the 2014 financial statements of the Organization and the report of
the Auditor thereon;
C. To appoint an Auditor of the Organization to hold office until the next Annual
General Meeting of the Members of the Organization;
D. To elect Directors of the Organization to hold office until the 2015 Annual
General Meeting of the Members of the Organization to be held in 2016;
E. To review and approve any proposed amendments to the Organization’s Bylaws;
F. To receive reports from the Directors and CEO in respect of the work of the
Board over the past year; and
G. To transact such other business as may be necessary or desirable in connection
with the activities of the Organization or otherwise.

Mitchell, PSMR Board Secretary at the provided letterhead address herein.
Members are defined by the By-laws of Parkinson Society Maritime Region to be the duly constituted and
administered Chapters of the Society represented by their acknowledged and appropriately elected leader
on behalf of the Chapter body collectively. Support Groups and/or individuals seen to be participants of
either a Chapter or a Support Group do not have voting privileges.
A Proxy form and copies of the By-laws of Parkinson’s Society Maritime Region are herein also provided
for your reference and use as required.
