Spring has sprung and with it comes rain (at least here in
Cleveland). Luckily, our Streaming Video selection offers plenty
of reasons to stay inside and watch!
Recent additions to Streaming Video include some of my
favorite films: The Texas Chainsaw Massacre and My Little
3 Pony: The Movie. An odd combo, but I was born in the 80s and
I have affinity for classic slasher films. We’ve also added some
14 fantastic book adaptations: A Good Marriage, Sophie’s Choice,
Let the Right One In, and others. And we can’t forget our star17 studded movies: Melancholia (Kirsten Dunst), The Good
Doctor (Orlando Bloom), Take This Waltz (Michelle Williams &
18 Seth Rogan) – to name a few.

Disney
This spring OverDrive is thrilled to
announce the addition of 100 Disney
titles to our Streaming Video
selection. The Disney catalog is
currently available to our US and
Canadian public library partners via
the Cost Per Circ section of
Marketplace.
I am personally over-the-moon about
the quality of our new Disney
selections. Many of the films are
favorites from my childhood.
I can’t tell you how many times I watched Airbud – the story of a young boy who rescues
a dog with a talent for shooting hoops. Even as an adult, it still brings a tear to my eye.
Also, I’m very jealous that my dog hasn’t caught on to basketball (no matter how many
Snack Packs I bribe her with).
Like all true 90s kids, DuckTales (woo-hoo!) was an after-school must-watch for me and
my brothers. Needless to say, my heart leapt with joy when I saw that DuckTales:The
Movie was available in Marketplace. Library patrons young and old are sure to enjoy the
kooky adventures of Scrooge McDuck, his nephews, and the wacky residents of
Duckberg.
Other great titles include: The Muppet Movie, A Goofy Movie, Oliver & Company, Tom &
Huck, and many more! Click here to check out the full Disney catalog.
