Google phases out Microsoft Silverlight from Chrome Browser
This year, Google made the decision to phase out so-called NPAPI plugins, including Microsoft
Silverlight, in the Chrome browser. Google pushed out an update to the stable channel of its Chrome
browser on 16 April 2015. This brought the version of the browser to 42, where systems will be
automatically updated over the next few weeks. With this comes the second phase of a major change
with regards to how plugins are handled by the browser.
If you currently access Sage One Payroll through Google Chrome, please follow the steps
below as a temporary workaround.

Chrome users can still override the blocking of plugins which will allow them to access and login on
Sage One Payroll.

Type chrome://flags in the Chrome browser's address bar and hit enter.
Search for chrome://flags/#enable-npapi on the page. Or, load it directly.
Enable it with a click on the link and click on Relaunch now.
Restart the browser.
