Our annual Scholarship fundraiser, Blue and White Scholarship, Service and Excellence Gala
will be held this year on March 21, 2015 at the Crane Bay Event Center downtown Indianapolis.
As you know, financial support is extremely important to the Xi Sigma chapter of Phi Beta Sigma
Fraternity, Inc., as we rely on donations to provide scholarships to deserving youth in the
community to help them to realize their dream of going to college.
The Scholarship Gala attracts more attendees each year, but we depend on the added support
of our friends in the business community who supply us with exciting auction items for this great
event. Would you be willing to be a corporate sponsor, donate either a gift certificate,
merchandise from your business or a financial donation?
Once purchased, a member from our committee will be contacting you to discuss your
contribution and to share information about individual and group tickets. It is a great
collaborative opportunity when we benefit from your donation and you receive the goodwill
which comes as a result of your generosity.
Our organization’s ability to continue to provide scholarships and mentoring opportunities to the
young men of the Indianapolis community is due in large part to the generous support of
individual donors who believe in our mission and motto of “Culture for Service and Service for
Humanity”, as well as gifts from businesses and corporations that also desire to contribute to
making the Indianapolis community a better place for all to benefit.

Xi Sigma chapter of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc. seeks your support to help us
achieve our mission to improve the quality of life for the youth in our community by
providing mentoring programs and scholarships for deserving students.
For our Blue & White Scholarship Gala we have a tiered fundraising approach to accept
donations from supporting organizations and individuals, with “Platinum”, “Gold”,
“Silver”, and “Bronze” sponsor levels (“Platinum” being the highest). The “Supporter”
level is aimed at individuals who would like to make a contribution toward our
scholarship and other efforts geared toward our community outreach initiatives. Each
sponsor level includes unique benefits the night of the gala and throughout the year.
