Partnership Structure
Energize Our Neighborhoods is a collaboration between
Boise’s residents, public and private partners, and the City to
keep our neighborhoods unique and desirable. It focuses on
aligning community resources to improve livability and make
measurable change.

will be used throughout the City. By focusing on individual
neighborhoods and using data as a road map, we will increase
economic activity, improve safety, provide additional services
and create more vibrant and connected neighborhoods. The
first target area is the Vista Neighborhood.

LIV is an expression of Boise’s vision to be the most Livable
City in the country. LIV Boise is a citywide effort to promote
livability throughout our community. It encompasses sustainable practices, policies and partnerships that preserve Boise’s
livability for present and future generations. Through a wide
variety of projects and initiatives, LIV Boise serves to protect
and enhance everything authentic about Boise.

neighborhood demographics and

The Whitney Community Center
is operated by Boise Parks &
Recreation in partnership with
the Boise School District.
The community center is a great
neighborhood resource. It offers
amenities that include a free
after-school program, studio
space for art and dance classes,
a supervised teen activity center
and a community garden.
