FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE PEACHTREE SPORTS FESTIVAL TO DEBUT IN ATLANTA APRIL 25 Festival sponsors Allstate Insurance and Firestone team up for pre-festival kick-off event March 5 at Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metro Atlanta ATLANTA (February 27, 2015) -- The Peachtree Sports Festival will debut in Atlanta at the Cobb Galleria Centre Saturday, April 25, 2015. This family-friendly event focuses on exposing kids of all ages to a variety of sports with a full day of Youth Sports Clinics hosted by professional instructors. The festival will also feature a speaker series where attendees will hear from influential figures in professional sports and collegiate athletics from the Southeastern region. The Peachtree Sports Festival Youth Sports Clinics will highlight 12 sports; including archery, baseball, basketball, fishing, football, gymnastics, lacrosse, martial arts, running, soccer, softball, tennis and volleyball. Kids will have the opportunity to receive sports-specific training, behind-the-scenes insights, and hands-on experiences. The clinics will be staggered throughout the day, ranging in length. The complete schedule and speaker series will be announced in March. “We’re excited to encourage youth athletics in the Atlanta community with the debut of the Peachtree Sports Festival this spring,” said Chris Kulick, owner and producer of the Peachtree Sports Festival. “The Peachtree Sports Festival is modeled after our successful Music City Sports Festival that we launched in Nashville in 2013.” Tickets for the Peachtree Sports Festival will go on sale March 1 and can be purchased at www.peachtreesportsfestival.com. Tickets are $8 in advance and $10 at the door. A portion of ticket sales proceeds will benefit Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Metro Atlanta. As title sponsors of the Peachtree Sports Festival, Allstate Insurance and Firestone will co-host a free kick-off event at Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metro Atlanta in Midtown Thursday, March 5 from 5 p.m.-7 p.m. The kick-off event is open to the public and will provide a fun snapshot of the upcoming Peachtree Sports Festival.
