PETER PAN

PETER PAN
Peter Pan is a boy from a magical place called Neverland. He
loves adventure and he doesn’t want to grow up. He visits
children in their dreams and they have fun together. One night,
he flies into an open bedroom window. Tinkerbell, the fairy, is
with him. The children are sleeping. Peter is very quiet, but
Tinkerbell is not. She sneezes and the children wake up. They are
Wendy Darling and her brothers, John and Michael Darling.

Peter: Oh, I’m sorry Wendy. I didn’t want to wake you up.
Wendy: You know my name! I know you, too. You’re Peter Pan!
Wendy is not afraid. She knows Peter Pan from her dreams.
Wendy: Peter, these are my brothers, John and Michael.
Peter: Hello, boys. Do you want to come to Neverland with us?
John: Yes, but….how?
Tinkerbell: We’re going to fly!
Michael: Wow!
Tinkerbell sprinkles them with magic fairy dust.
Peter: Now move your arms up and down and fly!
And one by one, the children fly out of the window. Soon, they are
high up in the night sky.
Michael: We are flying like birds! It’s wonderful!
John: You’re going very fast, Michael. Be careful.
Peter leads them through the night skies. Below them, the lights of London
shine very bright.
Wendy: Oh, look! The city looks beautiful from up here!
Peter: Just wait until you see Neverland…. it’s even more beautiful.
They are still flying as the sun comes up. Far below, they can see an island.
Wendy: What’s that place? It looks magical!
Peter: It is magical. That’s my home, Neverland!
Peter is very happy because he’s going home. When they land on the island,
a lot of little boys come to meet them. They are very happy to see Peter and
run towards him and Wendy.
Boy: Hey, look, Peter’s back.
