Tournament Regulations and Conditions
1a. The Tournament will be run in strict accordance with the ITF Rules of Tennis, the Rules of the LTA and the LTA
Tournament Regulations, including the LTA Code of Conduct (as each may be amended from time to time).
1b Doping Statement 'I consent to him/her participating in doping control procedures, if selected, undertaken by a
doping control officer appointed by UK Sport.'
1c Disciplinary Statement 'I acknowledge and agree that I am subject to the Rules & Regulations of the LTA (including,
without limitation, the LTA's Tournament Regulations, Anti-Doping Programme, Disciplinary & Dispute Resolution
Procedures, and the Regulations concerning Match Fixing, Financial Speculation and Betting) and hereby fully and
unconditionally submit to the jurisdiction and authority of the LTA.
1d Media Statement 'I consent to being involved in any publicity connected with LTA Staged or Supported Tournaments,
including media interviews, photographs, T.V. footage and LTA research projects. Please inform the Tournament
Organiser if you do not wish to be involved in such publicity.'
1e British Tennis Membership 'I consent to the details provided on this entry form to be used to update the
Membership Record of the person identified'.
1f Data Usage Statement 'I consent to the LTA and/or the organisers of LTA Tournaments, from my geographical area,
using the details provided on the entry form to communicate information about this and future tournaments, in my
geographical area, via post/email or SMS.'
1g 'Every competitor must be a British Tennis Member and have a rating. This shall not apply to events using handicap
scoring, or events which carry ATP/WTA/ITF world ranking points'.
2. Entries must reach the Tournament Organiser by the following dates:

Grade 3 events: Saturday 4 July 2015
We will, however, endeavour to accept late entries.
3. All entries, with an entry form for each competitor, should be forwarded with the entrance fee - cheques made
payable to Penzance Tennis Club.
4. Entry forms may be obtained from the website of Penzance Tennis Club.

5. The draw for all events will take place on Thursday 23 July 2015 and will be available to competitors the following day.
6. Matches in the Grade 3 Open Events will be the best of three sets using the LTA tie-break system in each set.
Handicap events will be the best of three short sets. Senior events will be the best of two tie break sets with a
championship tie break.
7. The Tournament Committee reserve the right to alter the programme, refuse any entry and/or withhold prizes if
insufficient entries are received, subject to the LTA Tournament Regulations 2015.
8. Any decision made by the Tournament Committee shall be final subject to item 9.
9. Complaints: Complaints in connection with the Tournament must be made in writing and lodged with the Tournament
Organiser within 48 hours of cause or occurrence. A written complaint may be lodged with the LTA at
[email protected] within 7 days of the occurrence of the situation leading to the complaint.
10. All competitors should wear clothing, including footwear, appropriate for the game of tennis.
11. Any periods of unavailability for play should be noted on the entry form.
12. Evening only players may enter no more than two events and must be available on weekdays from 17.30 and during
the day and evenings at weekends. Other competitors are limited to enter a maximum of 6 events.
13. Play will start at the discretion of the Referee.
14. Kindly limit the knock-up period to a maximum of 5 minutes.
15. ITF Approved tennis balls will be used.
16. Competitors may be requested to umpire.

17. Winners of all trophies will be entitled to retain them until 1 July 2016 during which time they must have them

engraved. By 3 July 2015 they should be returned to Penzance Tennis Club.

18. Play for all Handicap and Senior matches may start at 10.00am on Sunday 26 July. If you are not able to play on
this day, please ensure that your entry form is annotated accordingly

19. Early rounds of the Ratings event will be held on Saturday 25 July and Sunday 26 July for entrants with ratings
below 7.1 as outlined below
