Event Flyer - Mississauga Chapter

The PEO-Mississauga Chapter EIT committee invites all EITs as well as any other members to
come on Saturday May 30th, 2015 to meet and greet Dr. Barna Szabados, P.Eng the Chair of the
Academic Requirements Committee (ARC) and Dr. Santosh Goupta, P.Eng. the Chair of the
Experience Requirements Committee (ERC). The meeting will take place at Malton Community
Center and Library located at 3540 Morning Star Dr., Mississauga, ON, L4T 1Y2. For map and
directions please click here. The meeting will start at 9:00am till 12:30pm.
The ARC and ERC are the two legislated Committees established and appointed by PEO’s
Council in compliance with Regulation 941 of Ontario Engineering Act to assist the PEO staff in
determining whether applicants satisfy PEO’s licensing requirements or not.
THIS MEETING IS OF A GREAT VALUE TO ALL EIT(s) AND ANY MEMBER WHO WOULD LIKE TO
KNOW MORE ABOUT THE LICENCING PROCESS AND PARTICIPATE IN ANY OF THE PEO
COMMITTEES.
The meeting will be the first for PEO at large to bring the PEO committees’ chairs to meet with
chapter’s members and explain to them the roles of their committees and the issues they are
working on.
