Join Millikin University’s Alumni & Development
Center and Center for Entrepreneurship in an
authentic experience of Italy’s most famous
features: Food and Culture. We will explore
some of the lesser-known towns Italy has to
offer while exploring local and regional food
and wine offerings specific to the area.
Centro Studi Italiani
Founded in 1986, Centro Studi Italiani is the first school
for foreigners in the Marche Region and one of the
most respected institutions of its type in the world. Ever
since its foundation, the school has provided Italian
language and culture classes to more than 10,000
students from all over the world. Giovanni Pasotto
(Millikin Class of 2004) is the Deputy General Manager
of Centro Studi Italiani.
Accommodations for Entire Trip
Double occupancy room in furnished apartment in
Urbania.
Cost (estimates as of 11/26/14)
$2,800.00 per person (does not include airfare)
$4,400.00 per person (including airfare from Chicago
O’Hare to Rome Fiumicino)
Flights
You can choose to be a part of the group flight flying
from Chicago O’Hare or make your own flight
arrangements. Details regarding airport pick up time in
Rome will be determined at a later date.
Deadlines
• A $500 per person deposit is required to reserve
your spot.
• Friday, March 20, 2015 – Full amount due
Travel Insurance
Travel insurance is recommended. Insurance is not
included in the cost of the program.
Other Information
This trip overlaps with a four-week program in which
Millikin students are taking courses led by Millikin
faculty in Urbania. Some of the trips and excursions will
be common experiences for the entire group (Alumni &
Friends, students, and faculty).
