If you are on time you are late! If you are late…bad idea! All chaperones have the authority to direct the behavior of and discipline any student. Appropriate respect for all chaperones, bus drivers, and any other adult you encounter is required and expected at all times. Students must never go anywhere alone. Students must be with their assigned chaperone any time they leave the large group. You are required to keep your chaperone informed as to your whereabouts and activities at all times. Any action that reflects poorly upon you, the band program or our school will not be tolerated. If a student commits a serious infraction of this contract, displays overt disobedience, or is found to be unmanageable, the student’s parents will be contacted and asked to pick up the student immediately. The trip is a sanctioned school activity and all rules policies, and procedures that cover student behavior during school will apply on this trip. You are representing our band program, our school and our community. All of your behavior will reflect upon the group as a whole. Think before you act and be considerate. If you have a problem with someone else, see your chaperone. These guidelines are the minimum expectations. It is our group’s obligation to show our appreciation to the school administration, parents and friends that have made this trip possible for us. We are grateful to these people for their confidence in our band program and their trust in us to represent our community. It should be our earnest desire to see that nothing but praise, fine performance, and exceptional behavior come to their attention. This trip is our opportunity to excel, share, and be generously cooperative. Make this trip one we will remember for all the right reasons!
