INTRODUCTION 2
OLG has been entertaining millions of Ontarians for more than 30 years. Our goal is to provide fun and entertainment
through our Lotteries, Casinos, Slots, Resort Casinos and Bingo operations in a socially responsible manner. Our purpose is
to make life better for people across Ontario by generating revenue provincially, and economic and social benefits locally. When
you play, everyone wins.
OUR COMMITMENT TO RESPONSIBLE GAMING
Know your limit, play within it!
Check ID 25 – Lottery players must be 18 years of age or older
to buy or redeem lottery tickets. Retailers must ask customers
who look younger than 25 years old for government-issued
photo ID. A customer’s age can be verified by swiping his/her
Ontario driver’s licence on OLG lottery terminals.
Supporting Problem Gambling Initiatives – OLG funds
and supports initiatives that assist in the prevention of
problem gambling.
Responsible Gaming – OLG displays responsible gaming
messages on lottery products and advertising.
At OLG, we want you to enjoy a balanced approach when
playing lottery games. Set a limit in your entertainment
budget of how much you want to spend. If you believe
that you, or someone you care about, may have a gambling
problem, please call the Ontario Problem Gambling Helpline
at 1-888-230-3505.
WHERE THE MONEY GOES
AMBER ALERT
Since 1975, we’ve awarded approximately $23.8 billion in lottery prizes. However, millions of
Ontarians win in so many other ways every day:
Gaming Proceeds – Revenues generated by OLG’s Lotteries, Casinos, Slots and Resort
Casinos support health care, education, amateur sport, recreational and cultural activities and
community-based programs across Ontario. In our 2007/2008 fiscal year, more than $1.8 billion was generated for these purposes.
Retailer Commissions – Annually, over $193.1 million is returned to the economy through
commissions and bonuses to more than 10,400 lottery retailers.
Lottery Proceeds – More than 50 per cent of our lottery revenue goes back to the people of
Ontario in the form of prizes.
Ontario Trillium Foundation Grants – Revenue from Ontario’s casinos supports a $100
million annual allocation to the Ontario Trillium Foundation to help build healthy and vibrant
communities. Every year, this money is made available by the Foundation as grants to more
than 1,500 charity and not-for-profit groups across the province. For more information,
visit www.trilliumfoundation.org.
In partnership with the Ontario Provincial Police and the
Ontario Association of Broadcasters, OLG is proud to carry
Ontario Amber Alert messages with details of the alert on
customer-facing video screens at more than 8,800 lottery
terminal locations across the province and at our Prize
Centre in Toronto.
Police issue an Amber Alert in the case of a confirmed
instance of child abduction, when they believe that an
immediate broadcast alert will help locate the child.

Any Prize
A winning set of numbers entitles a winner to a prize in only
one of the above prize categories.
LOTTO 6/49 Prize Distribution
• Forty-seven per cent of LOTTO 6/49 draw sales are dedicated to the Prize Fund. The total
amount of $5 and $10 prizes are paid from the Prize Fund, and the balance of the fund (the
Pools Fund) is then allocated among the 4/6, 5/6, 5/6 + Bonus and 6/6 prize categories. If
there is more than one winner in a prize category, the prize in that category will be shared
among the winners in that category. Any amount not won in the 6/6 or 5/6 + Bonus prize
categories is added to the 6/6 Jackpot prize for the next draw.
• If the Rollover exceeds $30 million, then the percentages of the Pools Fund applying to the
6/6, 5/6 + Bonus, 5/6 and 4/6 Pools will be changed to 40%, 16%, 15% and 29%, respectively.
LOTTO SUPER 7 Prize Distribution
Forty-five per cent of LOTTO SUPER 7 draw sales are
dedicated to the Prize Fund. The total amount of $10 and
Free Play prizes are paid from the Prize Fund, and the balance
of the fund (the Pools Fund) is then allocated among the 5/7,
6/7, 6/7 + Bonus and 7/7 prize categories. If there is more
than one winner in a prize category, the prize in that category
will be shared among the winners in that category. Any
amount not won in the 7/7 or 6/7 + Bonus prize categories
is added to the 7/7 Jackpot prize for the next draw.
LOTTARIO Prize Distribution
The “total prize pool” for any LOTTARIO draw is 50% of LOTTARIO draw sales less the total
amount of all the $5 prizes and less $50,000 (the amount of the EARLY BIRD prize pool). The
total prize pool is then allocated among the 4/6, 5/6, 5/6 + Bonus and 6/6 prize categories as
indicated in the chart on page 14. If there is more than one winner in a prize category, the prize in
that category will be shared among the winners in that category. Any amount not won in the 6/6,
5/6 + Bonus, 5/6 or 4/6 prize categories is added to the 6/6 Jackpot prize pool for the next draw.
PICK-3
Fifty per cent of draw sales are dedicated to the PICK-3 Prize Pool.
APPENDIX 51
APPENDIX 52
PICK-4
• OLG limits the total amount payable for prizes per draw
to $2 million. Should the aggregate of the prizes to be
won by all winning tickets for the draw exceed $2 million,
then the prize amounts are reduced and are determined
in proportion to the amount that would, except for this
provision, otherwise have been won on the draw.
• The same four numbers (e.g., 8888) can be played only
as a STRAIGHT PLAY.
DAILY KENO
OLG limits the total amount payable for prizes payable per draw in each of the 22 prize
categories to $4 million. Should the aggregate of the prizes available to be won by all winning
tickets in any prize category result in the prize category limit being exceeded, the prizes of the
category are determined in proportion to the amount that would, except for this provision,
otherwise have been available to be won on the winning selections of the category.
PROHPICKS – PICKS
• For Top 1, your potential prize is your wager multiplied by the odds for the event (as indicated
by OLG). For Top 2 or Top 3, the odds (as indicated by OLG) for each event are multiplied
together and then multiplied by your wager amount. To win, ALL selections must be correct in
accordance with the final outcomes as determined by OLG.
• If two or more Participants/Teams earn the same number of points after all results are entered,
the Participant/Team with the lower ranking (with 1 being the highest rank and 16 being the
lowest rank) on the Card will prevail (as determined by OLG).
