What is the NEW First Aid for snakebite in pets? The NEW CPR technique? What do you do for
seizure or heatstroke? Are you NEGLIGENT if you are not trained in Pet First Aid?
You NEED a Pet First Aid Certificate if you are in pet business, or are a pet owner!
Pet First Aid is a seven hour intensive ‘in-service’ course for pet business staff, pet owners &
breeders. It’s the ONLY Pet First Aid course taught by a qualified veterinarian. Bring your own
dog or ‘borrow’ ours, & join us for a day of learning & networking!
The course includes all training materials, an attractive Certificate of Attendance & hard copy
course notes, & focuses on things that you WILL see, rather than rare & spectacular events.
The course includes:
 Normal, abnormal & emergency – which is what & when not to panic
 Transport to hospital
 Common events– bleeding, cuts, bites, broken bones, breathing issues, poisonings,
heat issues, eye & ear trauma, skin issues, bruising, dilatation, choking, & more
 What & how to tell owners.
 The pet business first aid kit
 Pet first aid for your clients.
There is also time to discuss First Aid & Disease issues that you are interested in. Suited for pet
business owners & staff. Pet Owners welcome. Basic pet care knowledge is assumed.

Because we rely on minimum numbers to operate these courses, no refunds will be given unless we are notified
more than 7 calendar days in advance by phone or email. If you do this, we will provide a 50% refund to you.
Full (100%) refund is provided if the course is cancelled, postponed or venue moved more than 5km.
