In addition to the 2015 Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge Benelux Technical Regulations the following is specified for
Porsche 911 GT3 Cup (type 991):
1. : Pressure plate and clutch disk, mounted in the differential:

Porsche 911 GT3 Cup (type 991) cars, the pressure plates and clutch disks found in the differential, must be
mounded according the illustration underneath.

1. For preparation disassemble air filter housing.
2. Dismount pins. Therefore clamp pin fully into vice.
3. Drive torx T20 into the pin (inside the air filter housing). Dismount pins by turning.

Clean new parts (pins) with Aceton.
Blow out inner thread with air gun.
6. Insert male pin from inside of the air filter housing and apply Loctite 2701 on thread.

7. Mount female pin by turning (wrench socket 11) and tighten with torque wrench 8 Nm. Hold male pin
(inside) with wrench (18).

1. : Fire extinguisher line:
Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge Benelux informs, during all Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge Benelux events, for all
Porsche 911 GT3 Cup (type 991) cars, the fire extinguisher line must be mounted according the FIA regulations
explained underneath.

2. Modification instructions
1. Deactivate fire extinguishing system (see technical handbook 911 GT3 Cup Type 991)
2. Dismount top extinguishing line (supply line centre nozzle engine bay) along sill penal from A-pillar to
B-pillar.

3. Dismount both extinguishing lines from wheel housing to rear shelf. Pull off both lines from the centre
nozzle and the Y-distributor.
4. Move lines to new place (yellow line) with wide radius. Do not bend line while moving! Dismount the 4
brackets (8K0.611.797.D) as they will not be used any more.

5. Cut the centre nozzle line by 300 mm with tube cutter and clear the cutting surface with cutter knife.
6. Mount bracket 999.507.952.40 and fix lines. Therefore, run the lines behind the cable loom leading to
the engine.

7. Mount bracket 999.511.257.40 to roll-cage bar and fix the lines. Put end of lines into the centre nozzle
and the Y-distributor.
8. Clips in all lines at the wheel housing and the door sill.

Porsche 911 GT3 Cup (type 991):
1. : Generator pulley:
Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge Benelux informs, during all Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge Benelux events, for all
Porsche 911 GT3 Cup (type 991) cars, that use the 150A generator with the part number 997.603.019.8A, must
replace the pulley by the clutch type pulley described underneath.

Pulley:
1. Dismount old nut with wrench size 24, counter alternator shaft with multipoint bit 10
2.
Use pull off device Hazet 2592 to clamp between pulley and alternator and pull of old pulley. Do not
tighten the pull off device smaller than 31 mm, as this can cause damage to the shaft of the alternator.

If necessary use small hammer to knock off pulley from shaft

Remove glue rest from shaft with three-cornered scraper
Clean thread with wire brush and blow off with air pistol, blow residual dirt away from alternator
openings
Turn new pulley onto shaft and place adapter (Hazet 2592) into pulley
Use multipoint M10 to torque pulley to 55 Nm and counterhold with adapter

Porsche 911 GT3 Cup (type 991) cars, it is mandatory to cover the battery positive terminal with the battery
cover with part number 999 611 104 00.

1. Paddle shift:
Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge Benelux informs, during all Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge Benelux events, for all
Porsche 911 GT3 Cup (type 997) cars, a paddle shift system is permitted under the following condition:
A single switch may operate several systems including the control of a value but if, for any reason whatsoever,
these systems do not respond to the driver’s order or if the value checked is not the right one, the driver will
have to actuate the switch again. The compressor and associated equipment must be positioned in the cockpit
in the front passenger’s location.

1. Wishbone assembly:
Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge Benelux informs, during all Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge Benelux events, for all
Porsche 911 GT3 Cup (type 997) cars, due to a change in the material of the bearing pin only the following part
numbers will be available for the lower wishbone assembly for front and rear axle. It is still allowed to use the
old version of the wishbone assembly but now we authorise the use of the updated wishbone assembly too.
