ADMINISTRATIVE APPOINTMENT
The Board of Education for School District No. 85 (Vancouver Island North) is pleased to
announce that Ms. Patti Burt has been hired as the next principal of Port Hardy
Secondary School effective August 1, 2015. Ms. Burt comes to our district from School
District No. 81 (Fort Nelson) where she has ten years of school and district (Technology)
administrative experience. She has a Master of Arts Degree in Leadership from Royal
Roads and has taught at community colleges including Malaspina (now Vancouver Island
University). With a wealth of technology experience, Ms. Burt will help our district
connect our classrooms and schools in innovative ways.
Please help us welcome Patti to Port Hardy Secondary and our north island community.
