DOGS ELIGIBLE TO ENTER
This event is open to all dogs four (4) months of age or older that are registered
with the American Kennel Club through the Foundation Stock Service (FSS).
Professional Handlers are permitted to exhibit in Open Shows providing that they
are listed as an owner of the entered dog. Professional Handlers are defined
according to the AKC Rules Applying to Dog Shows, Chapter 3, Section 7.
Dogs should be physically sound. No dog shall be judged if it is taped, bandaged,
glued, or stitched anywhere, including ears or tail, in any way or has anything
attached to it for medical purposes. Puppies under four (4) months of age are
strictly prohibited from the event grounds.

show, if requested.

OVERNIGHT PARKING REGULATIONS
1. (a) Full Service Area. There are 20 full service hookups on the southwest end
of the south RV parking area that are handled exclusively by the Kansas
Pavilions, 1229 E 85th St North, Valley Center KS 67147 or call (316) 440-0888.
Reservations & payment must be made in advance with the Pavilions office. The
cost is $30.00 per day with a 5-day minimum ($150.00). Additional days may be

reserved. No one will be allowed in any of these spaces until he or she has
contacted the Kansas Pavilions personally, with or without reservations. Any
spaces not reserved by show time will be sold by the Pavilions on a first-come,
first-served basis. Exhibitors should display their confirmation receipt in front
window as proof of payment. THE SUNFLOWER CLUSTER ASSUMES NO
RESPONSIBILITY WHATSOEVER FOR THESE FULL SERVICE HOOKUPS.
(b) Overnight Parking Lot C (no hookups) south of the Show Building is available
at $20.00 per day (collected by Cluster Security).
(c) Wiedemann Park Campgrounds (on Pavilions grounds near highway with
electric only) available at $25.00 per day must make reservations with Kansas
Pavilions Office (316) 440-0888.
2. For Lot C & Weidemann Park, RV parking will be available to Exhibitors
Thursday, April 2, 2015, at 9:00 am. Prior arrivals will have to make
arrangements with Kansas Pavilion Office by calling (316) 440-0888 or by
checking in with Kansas Pavilions Office on arrival. Pavilions Office will collect
only for those nights prior to Thursday, April 2, 2015.
3. There will be no saving of space unless first arrival pays for all spaces. Parking
sticker MUST be displayed in front window. Only one vehicle to a parking space
(a trailer & tow vehicle are considered one vehicle). RVs will be limited to no
more than 4 car spaces. Due to Fire Regulations, there MUST be two empty car
spaces between each vehicle (exercise pens allowed in that space).
4. Parking of self-contained vehicles will be available on a first-come basis.
5. Anyone wishing to camp or leave exercise pens overnight MUST buy a space
in south lot or campground for each day. There will be no overnight parking,
exercise pens or roped off areas in north parking lot. The north parking lot must
be vacated by midnight.
6. Each exhibitor is responsible for keeping his area clean. Refuse bins are
available. Dumping of gray water on parking lot is not allowed & should be
reported to Show Committee or building personnel.
7. Sunflower Cluster Shows & the Kansas Pavilions or their designated agents
reserve the right to direct parking.
8. No vehicles on south RV lots except by permit parking.

Attention Exhibitors
SHOW SITE
Show site is available to exhibitors after 6:00 AM on Sunday, April 5, 2015. Dogs must be
removed from the show site immediately following Best in Show judging of the Wichita
Kennel Club, Inc. show Monday, April 6, 2015. Doors in Pavilion I will be locked from 12
midnight to 6:00 am with the exception of two doors on the south side. Doors in Pavilion II
will be locked from 12 midnight to 6:00 am with the exception of one door on the north end
& one door on the west side. Parking areas will be available Thursday, April 2, 2015. See
“Overnight Parking Regulations”.
Any damages to motels by exhibitors can result in disciplinary action by an Event
Committee Hearing. All trophies must be claimed the day of the show. None will be
mailed. The Clubs reserve the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value. Bathing
of dogs in the public restrooms is prohibited by Kansas Coliseum Regulations. Dog
bathing facilities available elsewhere in building. PLEASE OBSERVE & RESPECT
HANDICAP & FIRE LANE SIGNS. ALL VIOLATORS WILL BE TICKETED & FINED BY
THE KANSAS COLISEUM. Public shower facilities will be available between Pavilions I &
II. NO DOGS IN SHOWER AREA. Food concessions will be available in Pavilion I &
Pavilion II.
The show-giving clubs are not responsible for the actions or products of the commercial
vendors at these shows. Our facility is accessible for handicapped persons.
KANSAS PAVILIONS & ALL BUILDINGS LOCATED ON THE GROUNDS ARE NONSMOKING FACILITIES. Smoking will only be allowed outside these facilities. (This carries
with it a fine of $20.00 per citation • citations will be issued to anyone in violation of this
policy.)
Electrical hook-up to any Kansas Pavilions building is prohibited. The welfare of an
exhibitor’s child is the responsibility of the exhibitor. It is expressly understood that
exhibitors will exercise control & restraint over their children during these shows. For the
safety of your children, PLEASE, we suggest NO BABY STROLLERS IN THE SHOW
BUILDING. All rights to televise, videotape, advertise, photograph, promote or otherwise
exploit the event are vested in the show-giving clubs. All persons & animals on the show
grounds at any time while the shows are in progress do, by attending these shows, grant
to the clubs the right to photograph, televise, videotape, audiotape or otherwise use their
likeness & voice in any manner without further release or consent.
UNWANTED VIDEO TAPING: Photography & Videotaping by individuals for their own
personal use will be allowed. The Show Committee does, however, reserve the right to
regulate placement of cameras to prevent interference with traffic flow & the exhibiting of
dogs. Photography or videotaping for any other purpose, including but not limited to
commercial purposes, is prohibited, unless prior permission is obtained in writing from the
Show Committee.
ARBITRATION
This club does not agree to arbitrate claims as set forth on the Official AKC Entry Form for
this event

There will be no refund for duplicate entries. Dogs need be present only for scheduled
judging and will be released if not needed for further judging. Dogs allowed in rings during
judging only. Dogs must be ready for judging. The club will not be responsible or obligated
to furnish any service for notifying exhibitors or their agents of Breed or Class Judging.
Judges need not wait for any dog holding up a class. Owners or agents alone are
responsible for the presence of their dogs in the judging rings. The Club reserves the right
to substitute a prize of equal or greater value.
All trophies must be claimed the day of the show - None will be mailed.
No entry fees will be refunded if the Show cannot open or be completed by reason of riots,
civil disturbances, fire, extreme and/or dangerous weather conditions, an Act of God,
public emergency, act of a public enemy, strikes or any other cause beyond the control of
the Club or the Superintendent. The show giving Club, the Show Superintendent, their
agents, employees, etc., assume no responsibility for any loss, damage or injury
sustained by exhibitors, handlers, or to any of their dogs or property and further assume
no responsibility for injury to children.
No entry shall be made and no entry shall be accepted which specifies any condition as to
its acceptance.
Entries will not be accepted without fees, signatures or the “Agreement” on the reverse
side of the Official AKC Entry Form. Changes, additions or corrections to entry forms must
be received in writing prior to close of entries. Those received by telephone are not
acceptable.
CLEAN UP: Please clean up after your dogs, your children, and yourself. Pick up hair
and debris after grooming. Please be neat and place all garbage in the trash cans
provided.
