PICYA Yacht Club Information
The COTY rules were revised to encourage Non-Bay Area PICYA Club participation by giving
an opportunity to build relationships and increase the number of parade entri es.
Bay Area Clubs are defined as clubs located within the San Francisco Bay bounded by the
Carquinez Bridge on the east and the Golden Gate Bridge on the west. Non-Bay Area clubs are
defined as Delta, Lake and Coastal clubs.
a. If a Bay area PICYA Yacht Club joins with another Non-Bay Area PICYA Yacht Club to
work together to decorate a boat for the Opening day Parade, both clubs will receive COTY
points for the entry.
b. If two Non-Bay Area PICYA Yacht Clubs join together decorating one entry, both
yacht clubs will receive COTY points.
