Dear Council Members,
Below is today's press release regarding AAF and CARE's efforts to stop
All Aboard Florida. When you get into the research of AAF and study the
movements of the various players, all roads lead to freight, with the
main cargo being Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG).
A LNG production & distribution center is being constructed in South
Titusville and a storage facility was approved back in 2008 to be built
in Indiantown. There are several people continuing with the
LNG research, and yet there is nothing in the media about LNG.
Everything the DOT & DOE say about hauling fuel by rail is that it
belongs *away from populated areas*. AAF is going after the $1.78
BILLION in tax free bonds, with the date being set for next Wednesday,
June 10th.

Martin County All Aboard Florida Citizen Update
In an effort to keep our citizens informed about Martin County's legal
challenge against the proposed All Aboard Florida project, we will send
periodic news and updates through our normal Martin County email
communications.
This week, Martin County legal counsel Steve Ryan continued to
aggressively pursue a reply from the Florida Development Finance
Corporation (FDFC) in response to letters Mr. Ryan has sent voicing
concerns about the way in which FDFC has organized its public meeting on
June 10

FDFC Board should not vote upon the bond issuance for AAF on June 10, as
any vote would be in violation of Florida Statute and FDFC's bylaws.
Specifically,
1.The FDFC is not comprised of three bankers who were nominated by
Enterprise Florida, and then selected by the Governor.
2.The FDFC is not comprised of a majority of members who were confirmed
by the Senate.
3.There are not enough members for a quorum. Bylaws require selection by
Governor and Senate confirmation.
4.Conflict of interest issues, specifically as to Daniel Davis.
5.None of members filed statements of financial interest pursuant to
FDFC bylaws.
