Dr. Seuss once stated “I like nonsense. It wakes up the brain cells. Fantasy is a necessary ingredient in living. It’s a way of looking at life through the wrong end of a telescope.” So awesome. In this class, students will hear a lot and see a lot of Dr. Seuss’ words and images for inspiration then will invent and construct their own character using a variety of media (mostly paper-mache) but the most important part of this class is that their character is made of a bunch of nonsense. (We’ll go into that further- in class.) For now, just know that this class will be indubitably inventive and fantastically fun! Instructor: Art Cube Studios.
