Letter from the Coordinator I had the best intentions of getting this newsletter out much sooner… but sometimes life doesn’t go according to plan. Along with caring for a new baby, my mother (who always helps me out with all of the Linus work) has been battling breast cancer. I’ve been caring for her and my father so my time has been a bit limited. Thank you for being patient and understanding while I go through some adjustments. So, finally, here is the end of the year wrap up- better late than never as they say. Please read on to learn about our most productive quarter yet. It is also bittersweet to announce that I will soon be stepping down as coordinator and shortly, moving to New York City. My husband has been offered an exciting job opportunity and so we are off to the East Coast. I am looking for a replacement to carry on the important mission of Project Linus here in the Coachella Valley and I am hoping it might be one of you or someone you know. This is a wonderful charity and I need someone to step forward to coordinate the chapter’s activity. If you are interested in learning more about the coordinator position or know someone who may be interested, please speak with me! If a replacement cannot be found, the chapter will unfortunately have to close. Let’s keep Linus going here in the desert! Please contact me for more information! I promise, it’s a great gig!
