allowed to participate without a completed registration package including all forms and full

REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS

is $125 for the 1st student athlete, $100 for the 2nd, and $75 for every student athlete registered after.

Each child must have a certified physical signed and stamped by a physician. The physical must be dated on or after January
2012. Physicals dated 2011 will not be accepted.
No child will receive a uniform or be allowed to participate until the full registration fee is paid.
REFUND POLICY
You may request a refund of your registration fee up to July 6, 2012. Refunds will be paid in Certified Check within 10 business
days of the request. Walk-ons after June 29, 2012 will be required have registration paid 5 business days from the first practice.
Walk-ons may request a refund up to 5 business days following the registration payment.
STUDENT ATHLETE AND PARENT RULES AND REGULATIONS
1. Please contact your Head Coach/Coordinator with any questions, comments or concerns.
2. Please see your coaching staff regarding any conflicts and give full cooperation when dealing with any issues.
3. Student Athlete’s conduct on/off the field will reflect upon their parents, UYSO (Detroit Broncos), and the coaching Staff.
4. Parent’s should display “good sportsmanship” during games/activities sponsored by UYSO (Detroit Broncos). Breach of this
behavior will result in dismissal of your student athlete with no refund given. Further, verbal or physical altercations between/
among other parents/coaches is prohibited with the consequences being aforementioned.
5. Coaching from the sidelines is not necessary. Parents may watch practices from a designated area on the field. Please do not
interrupt practice or enter the practice area for any reason.
6. Please be sure that your student athlete has transportation to and from each practice/game. Regular attendance is extremely
important. Student athletes should attend every practice and game, as each athlete is a vital part of the TEAM. Parents should
arrive 5-minutes prior to the end of the practice/game. If your student athlete is unable to report to the field due to illness or other
personal reasons, the parent must notify the Coach. Habitual absenteeism is grounds for dismissal.
7. RAIN DAY: Football Practice will be cancelled ONLY if players are NOT in pads/helmet. Cheerleader Practice will be cancelled if it is raining at 5:45pm. Parents please stay close to the field in case of lightening.
PRACTICE /GAMES
1. Absolutely no gum, candy, cell phones at practices or games. Please bring water for breaks.
2. CHEER: NO JEWELRY, ACRYLIC FINGERNAILS are permitted.
3. CHEER: We warm-up, stretch, and practice the greeting and half-time as a team one-hour prior to the start of the game. If the
cheerleader arrives during the greeting time the cheerleader will not be allowed to greet with the team.
4. CHEER: Uniforms must be clean and neat. A clean uniform includes: NO JEWELRY, hair NEATLY combed into one (1) ponytail (NO BEADS) with a green/gold game ribbon, clean Kelly green bodysuit, briefs, laundered uniform, yellow/green megaphone
ankle socks, clean white Converse gym shoes -- no acrylic fingernails or fingernail polish. If the uniform is not presentable the
cheerleader will not cheer. Parents may purchase missing uniform items from Coach JP on game day.
5. Student Athletes will be disciplined by the Head and Assistant Coaches for these behaviors: attitudes, not participating , disrespecting coaches /other players, unpleasant behavior such as taunting other players, instigating and using profanity.
6. Student Athletes will be disciplined by their coach. The 1st warning the Team Secretary /Coordinator and head coach will meet
with the parent. The 2nd warning the Cheer Coordinator / Athletic Director will meet with the parent. The 3rd warning will result in
removal from the team with NO REFUND. All incidents will be documented.
IMMEDIATE DISMISSAL FOR UNLAWFUL ACTS
Any commitment of the unlawful acts below are grounds for dismissal with NO REFUND. Any other unlawful act(s) not covered in
this section will result in appropriate disciplinary action and/or immediate dismissal without refund.

REGISTRATION AND FEES
All student athletes will participate in seven games providing that he/she meets all of the rules and requirements.
REGISTRATION FEE - DUE 6/25/12:
$125.00**
**The registration fee for your legal family is $125 for the 1st student athlete, $100 for the 2nd, and $75 for every
student athlete registered after.
Fee includes:
Annual Awards Banquet Ticket, Trophy, replacement and cleaning of competition uniforms, liability Insurance,
administrative costs and other Miscellaneous Items.
Please note: If a student athlete does not complete the entire season he/she will not receive a trophy.
Registration fee must be paid in the form of a money order, certified checks and online payments only. ($5 service
fee) (NO CASH OR PERSONAL CHECKS ACCEPTED)
PERSONAL CHEER & COMPETITION PACKAGE - DUE 7/13/12 & 8/10/12:
Exclude $10 for D– and C–team for sports bra. (Unless required)

Fee includes:
Warm-up sweat suit, Kelly green imprinted hoodie, Sports bra, Kelly green boycut briefs, Kelly green bodysuit
game day hair bow, game day sock, Converse Cheer shoes and cheer sling backpack. Competition breakfast,
lunch, competition hair and ribbon.
*Paying for the competition package DOES NOT ensure that your child will be selected for the competition cheer
team. (Optional items may include: Headbands, socks, shorts, t-shirts and Winter Jacket)

however it is economical.

The United Youth Sports Organization (Detroit Broncos) is a non-profit volunteer organization. It depends
greatly on the commitment and participation of several volunteers. Board members, staff members and all
other volunteers are not compensated but devote a substantial amount of time and energy to support our
organization.
Parental involvement is mandatory and critical to our success. In addition to supporting and participating in
our fundraising activities, we require all parents/guardians to volunteer at least four (4) hours of volunteer
time, one (1) concession stand shift and one (1) event (ex. Benefit game, homecoming game/dance, cheer
competition, banquet, etc.). For concession stand and game day volunteering you will be scheduled to work
at games other than your child’s (either prior to or after) so you can enjoy your child’s game.
To make it convenient for you please volunteer when you are available. If you are unable to fulfill your
obligation as scheduled, you must find an alternate who is at least 18 years of age. Failure to fulfill or replace
yourself will prevent your child from playing in the following weekend game. It is necessary to enforce this
ruling to remain fair to all volunteers.
All of our lives are extremely busy, by doing your fair share, no one person will be overwhelmed. Each
participating family acknowledges that they have read, understand and agree to the terms of this Volunteer
Policy and Contract by signing below. You are responsible for signing up for volunteer times and submitting
your volunteer tally sheets to your child’s Team Coordinator. Please be advised that failure to adhere to the
terms of this contract will result in your child’s inability to participate in the United Youth Sports Organization

a place designated by the United Youth Sports Organization (Detroit Broncos), or at a time when my
son/daughter quits or is released from the United Youth Sports Organization (Detroit Broncos). Failure to
comply with this waiver will result in my child not being able to participate with the United Youth Sports
Organization (Detroit Broncos) football/cheerleading program next season. I will assume all responsibility for penalties, claims, and court cost, including expenses of attorneys retained to sue for damages of
unrecoverable equipment or uniforms.
