Each bowler shall receive a handicap 90% of the difference between his/her average and 220 pins in each event entered. However, under no circumstances shall a man's handicap be over 76 pins per game (135 average) and a ladies' handicap be over 90 pins per game (120 average). Each bowler shall use the highest previous season's average between September 1, 2013 and May 31, 2014 of any league in which they bowled at least 21 games. The average shall be certified by the league secretary. If the current season's average is 10 or more pins above previous season's average - the current season's average (over 21 games) will be used. If a bowler did not bowl the previous season, his/her current season's average as of January 1, 2015 of at least 21 games must be used. When a contestant has no established average from the previous season, or as of January 1, 2015, the coordinator shall enter an average of 200 for men, and 175 for women. If an entrant turns in an average less than required, which results in an additional handicap, the team and entrant shall be disqualified if such erroneous average is not corrected prior to completion of the first game of a series. ANY BOWLER FALSIFYING HIS/HER SCORE, AVERAGE OR IDENTITY WILL BE DISQUALIFIED FROM ALL EVENTS AND BANNED FROM FUTURE PNA NATIONAL TOURNAMENTS.
