The applicant shall have been accepted to a University, College or trade school. The applicant shall be a practicing Catholic and registered in a parish in Pend Oreille County. This collection is one of four annual collections authorized by the Catholic Diocese of Spokane. It supports major ministries in our homeland, the USA - Black & Native American Missions; Catholic Campaign for Human Development; Catholic Home Missions; Retirement Fund for Religious; and Catholic University of America. Registered parishioners will receive a special solicitation letter from Father Mike Savelesky, Diocesan Administrator, along with an information flyer and personalized collection envelope. Make checks payable to CCUS and please place your envelope in the offertory collection or mail it directly to the Diocese. BISHOP THOMAS A. DALY – On May 19-20 the Diocese of Spokane will celebrate the installation of the Most Reverend Thomas Anthony Daly as our seventh Bishop. A general public reception will be at the Cathedral’s O’Connor Hall from 3:30-5:30 p.m. No tickets are required.
