The voice of the Lord is powerful; the voice of the Lord is full of majesty. The voice of the Lord flashes forth flames of fire. The voice of the Lord shakes the wilderness, and causes the oaks to whirl May the Lord give strength to his people! May the Lord bless his people with peace! *Hymn (screen or bulletin) 10,000 Reasons Matt Redman Unison Prayer of Confession (Note--Prayers of Confession this month are written by our Confirmation Class members. They are personal, genuine expressions of faith, printed as written). Lord, I have committed a great amount of sin, with all of the selfish, yet selfless things I have done. I apologize for the downfall of my peers, in which I was responsible. I thank you for dealing with my foolishness and nonsense. Yet, your love has still remained no matter what I have done…(a time of silence is kept). We should every day strive to do our best to make Him proud. Sometimes we mess up, but if we confess our wrongdoings, we shall be forgiven. In the beginning, before there was anything else there was You, O God. After there is nothing You will be there. I follow You and Your Son so I may live forever with you and escape the evils of the world, and to be able to return to you upon calling me. I believe that we are all not perfect, so we sin. I believe that you will not fail to forgive us. Jesus has died for our sins on the Cross, God's only Son. Prayers of the People and The Lord’s Prayer Our Father, Who art in Heaven, hallowed be Thy Name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors. Lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil. For Thine is the Kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen. * Hymn # 216 {Green} Give Thanks *Benediction Postlude Today’s Worship Leaders Liturgists: Preacher: Music Director: Organist: Bell Director: Juliana Struyk, Thomas Hanisch, Jenna Waibel, Katelyn Hollar, Jim Laux Rev. I am lost, for I am a man of unclean lips, and I live among a people of unclean lips; yet my eyes have seen the King, the LORD of hosts!” 6 Then one of the seraphs flew to me, holding a live coal that had been taken from the altar with a pair of tongs. 7 The seraph touched my mouth with it and said: “Now that this has touched your lips, your guilt has departed and your sin is blotted out.” 8 Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?” And I said, “Here am I; send me!”
