Suncutter engineering makes an outdoor LCD display different from any other product on the market.
The Suncutter family of outdoor LCD products feature a patent pending, ultra-bright backlight design and
diffusers that provides more than 2200 nit brightness. Even in direct sunlight, bright, vivid images are displayed
without damaging the LCD glass.
The LCD panel is enclosed in a patent pending aluminum cabinet which acts as a life support system for
all the components. The cabinet features custom designed air filters for complete air control and system
protection. The cabinet has plenty of room for wireless cards, computers, DVD players, or other content sources. The
aluminum cabinet is powder coated with a temperature resistant paint for all-weather protection.
The LCD panel is protected by a unique anti-reflective IR safety glass. As a result, the Suncutter can withstand
hot, cold, and wet environments. The unit is designed to operate in an ambient temperature range from -40 to
+50 C.
A Suncutter can be mounted using custom hardware designed for outdoor use.
The Suncutter design represents a significant improvement over traditional direct-backlit LCD’s, providing high
