Bugs are listed by product area, and then by bug number. Please refer to the Service Pack 3 Patch level List to see bugs that were fixed for each patch level. In addition, please refer the Release Notes for more detailed information about the Service Pack 4 Release. 2 CORE SERVER 2.1 59001: Thread logs not adequate Thread logs are overwritten each hour. To configure 24-hour logging, complete the following step: + In the “SaperionOptions.ini” file, in “KeepThreadsLogs24h” parameter to TRUE. Example the “Threadlog.Options” section, set the [Threadlog.Options] KeepThreadLogs24h=TRUE 2.2 DE39453: Error accessing SER Connector documents When changed SER Connector documents were accessed using the revision dialog, the original document could not be displayed. 2.3 DE39455: Objects in write buffer lost media pool after error After an error, information about the original pools for objects in the write buffer was lost when restarting. Pools had to be manually re-assigned. With the fix, pools are automatically re-assigned at restart. 1 3 2.4 WORKFLOW DE40391: Exception when JCS shut down When the Java Core Server was shut down via services, an exception was logged in the wrapper.log. 2.5 DE40484: DDCs not handled correctly by Legacy server In multi-client systems, client IDs were not always properly attached to DDCs, which were then not processed correctly by the Legacy Server. 2.6 DE41742: "Replace" function for DDC Names did not work correctly In multi-client systems, the “replace” function for DDC names did not always work correctly when the DDC name began with a capital letter. This has been fixed so that “replace” now works with capital letters as well. 3 WORKFLOW 3.1 DE39798: Workflow macros not executed when forwarded When the workflow was forwarded from an escalation task, workflow macros were not executed. 3.2 DE40660: Unable to assign ACL to nodes When a user tried to add a new ACL via “Document Access”, the ACL dialog did not open, and an exception error appeared in the status line. 3.3 DE40916: OCX search event didn't fire The OCX search event could not be fired until the Workflow inbox was refreshed. 2 4 4 RICH CLIENT 4.1 54558: Document not displayed correctly in Multi-Format viewer RICH CLIENT After being rendered, documents were displayed with corrupted text in the Multi-Format viewer. 4.2 DE40101: Single pages of imported multi-page TIFFs not saved correctly Saving single pages from multi-page TIFFs that were imported with the Classic Connector resulted in errors in the file type extensions. Pages are now saved correctly as .TIF files. 4.3 DE41567: DocLoadOriginal was ignored when importing documents by printer When documents were imported using the printer, the DocLoadOriginal=FALSE parameter was ignored. 5 WEB CLIENT 5.1 DE40534: displaying COLD documents failed when using mergeMultipageTiff Setting the parameter “mergeMultipageTiff” to TRUE resulted in a null pointer exception when displaying COLD documents. 5.2 DE41052: Changing users while using SiteMinder did not work Changing from one type of license user to another and back again did not work when using SiteMinder. 5.3 DE41107: SiteMinder did not work with Saperion 7.5.x SiteMinder did not work with Saperion 7.5.x due to a change in the login function. 3 6 5.4 API - COM/UBI DE41366: PDF export did not work with SSO When a user is signed in with SSO, using the “Print as PDF” context menu item to export documents to PDF did not work. 5.5 DE41678: Documents with many variables could not be opened Documents containing many variables could not be opened using the Web Client or Web Service, or the Classic Connector. 5.6 DE41704: Blank spaces in buttons appear as " " Blank spaces in button text appeared as “ ”. Saperion now makes multiple attempts to add to the folder after a rollback. 6.3 DE41745: MoveFolder/UpdateFolder caused full table scan in Oracle MoveFolder/UpdateFolder caused a full table scan in Oracle because backslash ( \ ) was interpreted incorrectly. 4 7 6.4 DE41956: No RMI connection when using different port When a brokerhost port other than the default port was used in a Classic Connector application, no RMI connection could be established. 7 SAP 7.1 48310: R/Link: Temp files were not removed after read and store TMP files were not always removed after read and store operations.
