STORAGE WAIVER
We wish to notify our esteemed customers and stakeholders the procedure for
storage waiver application;
 All waiver applications must be applied for by the Importer
 The importers letter may be delivered by his appointed agent provided a
scanned copy is emailed to the CFS through the importers email domain
 Delivery order must be validated
 For cargo received before 1st July 2014 the CFS operators will grant
waiver on storage subject to full recovery of the following
o Container cargo - shore handling, wharfage, remarshaling, transfer
fee and handling charges.
o Motor vehicle – shore handling, wharfage, transfer fee, terminal
user fee, cfs handling and re handling.
 For cargo received after 1st July 2014 storage waiver is at the discretion
of the CFS operator upon receipt of a written application from the
receiver.
 The waiver validity period is 60 days starting 16th February 2015 and
ending 16th April 2015.
 Thereafter the cargo will be handed to the authorities for destruction
without any further reference.
