Making
Connections…
In small groups, the unconscious is
brought to life. Interactions, metaphors
and feelings emerge that are unique to
each group. Research has demonstrated
the effectiveness of group to be equal to
or greater than that of individual therapy.
Leading groups requires specialized
training. This weekend will provide an
opportunity to begin learning new skills
and enhance the skills you already
possess.
Observing the development of a live
group is an educational experience that
cannot be matched by didactic learning
alone. Over the course of three live
demonstration groups, we will be able to
see unconscious power dynamics
emerge and develop within the group.
Conference attendees will have the
opportunity to connect with colleagues,
friends, and noted leaders in the field of
group psychotherapy during this exciting
weekend program.
