UPKK-UB’s Entrepreneurship Workshop Submit by humas3 on April 09, 2015 | Comment(s) : 0 | View : 1050 Entrepreneurship lecturers join entrepreneurship workshop in UPKK-UB Entrepreneurship is still the minimum profession which is done by college students after graduating. Therefore, the role of higher education is vital to instill an entrepreneurial mindset to students who still crave the profession to become civil servants or privates. In this regard, Career and Entrepreneurship Development Unit of Brawijaya University (UPKK-UB) as the unit that bridges the university with students in career development held Entrepreneurship Workshop on Tuesday (04.07.15) in the meeting room of UPKK-UB. Attended by 27 lecturers who teach entrepreneurship courses in faculties, the Head of UPKK-UB, Dr.Edy Yulianto, M.P., explained about the roles, duties and positions of UPKK-UB. The workshop also becomes a forum to solicit the Head of Entrepreneurship who is still empty. This is because Entrepreneurship Division is a new division in UPKK and becomes the difference between Job Placement Center (JPC) and UPKK. "With this workshop, it is expected that entrepreneurship lecturers in each faculty can equate and finalize entrepreneurship materials which might be different. And finally, it is able to encourage students to have an entrepreneurial mindset after receiving the material from the lecturers," said Edy.
