A Word About Premier Start
When you plan for something, it never catches
you by surprise. We call our upfront planning
process Premier Start.
It’s designed to document and communicate all
project deliverables and activities to the team in
explicit detail. And we do work as a team—not
a sponsor team and a Premier Research project
team, but a single team that has the same
understanding of recruitment goals, start-up
dates and deliverables from first patient in to data
lockup. It’s our way of focusing everyone’s efforts
in the same direction.
Communications are a key part of it, and two
face-to-face meetings play a big role.

Therapeutics. Premier Research’s Medical
Device and Diagnostics team is a leader in using
companion diagnostics to predict which
individual patients will—and won’t—respond
to a drug, and to determine optimal dosage.
Adaptive Trial Design makes studies more
efficient by reducing the time or number of
patients required and accelerating the collection
of significant data.

on doing what we do best, collaborating with our customers—highly innovative small
to mid-sized biopharmaceutical companies—to efficiently bring their life-changing
developments from initial strategy through clinical development to final regulatory
submission. We’re not so big that we’re going to tell you how to do your job. We’re
not so small that we can’t do ours. We have worked on some amazing new medicinal
products and devices, from simple Phase I studies in our own Clinical Research
