GIORGIO ARMANI EYEWEAR SPRING-SUMMER 2015 SHAPE AND COLOUR INSPIRED BY NATURAL BEAUTY Sand, sea, wind. Some faraway island, mysterious and silent, full of colour and rugged landscape. This image is the inspiration behind the glamorous new collection from Giorgio Armani. The spring-summer season eyewear collection is characterised by robust lines, minimalist styling, a refined range of colours and cutting-edge production techniques. Innovative materials are used in fresh combinations, whilst elegant detailing and an unmistakeable lightness of touch create a timeless style that, in true Giorgio Armani fashion, is nonetheless able to reinvent itself season after season. Inspiration drawn from a world rich in contrasts is the starting point for the reworking of established styles, with shaping and size reinterpreted to create an unexpected and elegant sense of balance. WOMAN SAND AR6028 – With a strong yet elegant catwalk design and large, butterfly-shaped gradient lenses, these sunglasses are reminiscent – in both texture and colour – of stretches of golden sand bathed in sun and ravaged by wind. The contrast temples, in gold and beige, are embellished simply with the Giorgio Armani logo. Available in opaque gold with brown-gradient lenses. AR7082 – The sensual cat-eye shaping of these optical glasses mirrors the lines of Sand, the iconic model from the new catwalkinspired Giorgio Armani collection. The solidcolour front section is available in an intense sand hue for a sophisticated, glamorous look. AR8051/AR7061 – Inspired by the Giorgio Armani accessories collection, these two feminine models in acetate draw heavily on the detailing that characterises the collection’s bags. The unconventional, pearlescent profiling draws attention to the transparent plexiglas detailing that adorns the temple. Created via an injection of coloured nylon crystals around the metal core, the feature captures the gaze and allows the laser-etched Giorgio Armani logo to shine through. Available as sunglasses in pearled gold with gradient yellow/ochre lenses or pearled brown with gradient brown lenses, or as optical glasses in pearled gold and pearled brown. MAN AR8062/AR7080 – An expression of natural, unspoilt luxury, these glasses are a marriage of impeccable craftsmanship and technological research applied to new materials. The classic rectangular sunglasses and gently squared optical glasses both feature temples created using two layers of wood and one of carbon fibre. The two types of wood used, wenge and natural Canaletto walnut, are handmade to create a perfectly smooth, eminently touchable feel. Available as sunglasses in Havana with wenge temples and brown lenses or Havana blue with Canaletto walnut temples and grey/green lenses; the optical glasses come in Havana with wenge temples or Havana blue with walnut temples. 2 AR6027/AR5050 – Timeless elegance abounds for these fresh sunglasses in acetate, with their squared shaping and ultrathin metal double bridge. Meanwhile, the rounded lenses of the optical glasses draw inspiration from and reinterpret the long Armani heritage. Meticulous attention to detail can be seen throughout, with the Giorgio Armani logo laser-etched into each temple. The sunglasses are available in bronze/yellow Havana with brown lenses or opaque gunmetal grey/green Havana with brown lenses, whilst the optical glasses are available in bronze/green Havana and in opaque gunmetal grey/Havana green. 3
