Greetings!
The Princeton Area Chamber of Commerce would like to extend a special invitation to your band to participate
in our 2015 Rum River Festival Parade. This year’s parade will be:
Thursday, June 11, beginning at 6:00 p.m.
We will be offering limited travel expenses based on the distance traveled and the size of your band. If you
would like to participate, please fill out the application below and return it to the chamber office no later
than May 15, 2015. (we have had many requests to participate so do not delay your entry)
PLEASE NOTE: The Band entries will be limited to 10 – only the first 10 entries will be accepted.
You will receive a line up number and a map of Princeton highlighting the line-up area and the route prior to the
event. Once again Tri-State Judges will be evaluating the bands.
The following categories will be judged:
(3) Divisions; Class A, Class AA, Class AAA
Prizes to be awarded:
A Grand Champion
One Winner Chosen from Each Class
Outstanding Percussion
Outstanding Color Guard
Winners will be announced at the end of the parade area, where band refreshments are available, following the
parade (around 9:00 pm) at the High School Football Field. Trophies and evaluations will be available then.
