We are currently seeking to recruit a Production Manager to facilitate the production team in providing quality graded onions for packing and finished products to our customers at the lowest possible cost. The role will involve ensuring our production team has the necessary resources, knowledge, skills and behaviours to do a great job for our customers. Supported by 4 on 4 off Area Leaders to support and control daily production you will drive continuous improvement within the production and grading areas and ensure we are able to deliver the best possible service to all our stakeholders in line with Produce Word’s policies, values and strategic objectives. You will need to have: √ Experience managing a multi-team production environment with evidence of delivering operational improvements with a data led approach, whilst maintaining agreed quality, staffing and performance standards √ Confidence developing and using operational KPIs and tools such as labour productivity, OEE, skills matrices and staff rotas √ Ability to lead and work as part of a team, building good relationships with colleagues at all levels √ Good verbal, written, numerical and I.T. skills with the ability to quickly learn and use ERP systems √ Adhere to the Produce World’s vision, values, and behaviours If you tick all the boxes and would like more information about the role and to apply, please contact Abbie Tillson-Rose, HR Administrator at [email protected] or call 01354 691021.
