INFRASTRUCTURE
SCOR Business Solutions, as a division of SCOR Global P&C,
is exclusively dedicated to the underwriting of large corporate risks
INTRODUCTION
ORGANIZATION
The development of modern infrastructure is central to meeting the challenges
of the modern global economy. Infrastructure investment is generally Government led and
can vary depending on the prevailing political and economic climate. This can result in a cyclical
investment pattern which is not necessarily compatible with the underwriter’s goal to create
a diversified risk portfolio. In addition this industry is requiring more and more private funding
changing the way the risk is dealt with and transferred.
With a global approach our team have built a worldwide experience and reach and by working
within new environments such as Public-Private Partnerships and privately financed projects
we have been able to develop and maintain our expertise in this area.
SCOR Business Solutions team has a proven track record of more than 40 years of active presence
in this sector. Our Engineering team offers project-specific insurance solutions based on technical
excellence and delivers industry leading products and services to our clients and their brokers.
Our value proposition consists of developing genuine long-term partnerships with our clients.
This consistency combined with flexibility and creativity has enabled SCOR Business Solutions
to become a recognized leader in infrastructure and has made SCOR Global P&C a preferred
partner for many clients and intermediaries.
We are committed to working closely with our clients and their brokers throughout the duration
of the project from defining insurance requirements to completion.
The team operates from five SCOR
offices to service three regions:
EMEA – London, Paris
Americas – Toronto
Asia-Pacific – Singapore, Hong Kong
Each of these regions has full access
to the expertise and experience
of the entire team.
This is why our underwriters are
professionals from the construction
sector with actual experience in the
planning, design and the construction
of large infrastructure projects.
This unique team of experts combines
solid technical engineering backgrounds
with in-depth knowledge of the insurance
techniques used for large corporate risks,
enables us to share a common language
with our clients, and to understand and
analyze their specific needs and
requirements in order to create and
deliver competitive, tailor-made solutions.
