TERM 1, WEEK 8
Rāapa 25th Poutū-te-rangi 2015
Wednesday, 25th March 2015
Swimming Sports Well done to all students who participated at yesterday‘s swimming event and worked
hard. We had plenty of winners and lots of awesome swimmers shone. We had 5 schools at poolside and no
accidents which is a bonus. Thank you for your support. Feedback is welcomed so that next year we can
make the event even better. Please send written feedback to [email protected] or
[email protected].
BLACK CAPS Win! Congratulations to our national cricket team who really have performed amazingly at
the cricket world cup. We are all, no doubt, looking forward to the challenge of hopefully a New Zealand /
Auzzie clash on Saturday. For our local boys and girl who are facing Maraekakaho next Tuesday in cricket
on their turf, good luck and we hope you can emulate the Black Caps in their attitude! All parents are
welcome to attend the game and offer support.
Assembly This week our assembly is back to our normal times and the seniors will be leading this. I will not
be attending this assembly as I have a principal seminar to attend with Hawkes Bay Principals. I know the
team will have things sorted for the day.
