Tournament Rules
Thank you for supporting and attending our Pure Basketball Mayhem in March Tournament.
We hope you have a great time and we look forward to seeing you again next year.
Below you will find the tournament rules. Please review them prior to game time.
Pure Basketball™ staff will handle all tournament clocks.
The first team listed will provide someone to do the official book at the scores table.
NO GAME STARTS BEFORE THE SCHEDULED TIME.

2012 NJ High School Rules
 10-minute forfeit time
 6 personal fouls
 1 and 1 on 10th foul of each half
 2 shot double bonus on the 12th foul
 2 full timeout and one 20 second timeout per half
 1st half timeouts don’t carry over
 2 minute overtime- one full timeout and one 30 second timeout
 Halftime 2 minutes
 14 minute halves for 10U - 12U (28.5 Size Basketball)
 11U/5th Grade and older: Teams ahead by 30 points or more at any point in the second
half must play defense behind their three-point arc. First offense: Warning, Second and
all additional offenses: 2 shot technical.
 16 minute halves for 13U & 14U (Regular Size Basketball)
 Coaches are responsible for team’s behavior
 No dunking during warm ups
 No fighting - automatic ejection and suspension from the tournament (no exceptions)
 If your team is down by 20 points with 3 minutes left in the second half, the clock will keep
running.
 No jewelry can be worn during game time.
PLEASE ARRIVE 30 MINUTES BEFORE START OF GAMES.
