Artificial Insemination Training (Cattle) ‘Narayen’, via Mundubbera QLD
The Artificial Insemination Course provides participants with the necessary skills to conduct
an AI program on their own livestock. Participants will be able to apply their knowledge
and skills to prepare for insemination, time insemination to coincide with oestrus cycles,
prepare equipment and work sites, correctly select and thaw semen for insemination,
inseminate animals, clean up and record data after insemination is complete. Unit will be
delivered under AHC30110 Cert III in Agriculture.

Course Structure
Held at Emerald Agricultural College's property 'Narayen', via Mundubbera QLD, this course
runs from 8am to 5pm each day. Students will learn the necessary skills to conduct an AI
program with their own livestock. The unit AHCLSK312A Coordinate artificial insemination
& fertility management of livestock is part of the AHC30110 Cert III in Agriculture.
What to Bring: Suitable outdoor work wear; hat, long sleeve shirt, long pants, enclosed
leather shoes, linen, pillow or swag; towel, water bottle.

Course fees must be paid prior to course commencement to ensure a place. As numbers
are strictly limited, a place on this course will only be confirmed upon receipt of the course
fee.
Cancellation Procedure:
PLEASE READ CAREFULLY
•A refund of fees paid, less an administrative charge of $20, will be made if the student
cancels enrolment five working days or more prior to the commencement of a course. A
full refund of fees will be made if QATC cancels the course.
•No refund will be made if the cancellation is less than 5 working days before the course
commences or if a student withdraws or otherwise does not attend after course
commencement.
•By registering for this course, you acknowledge and agree to the above cancellation
procedure. Please read carefully. *The College reserves the right to cancel a course if
minimum numbers are not reached.
