Pregnancy test animals (Cattle)
Narayen Pregnancy Testing Course 3-5 June
This unit covers pregnancy testing animals and defines the standard required to: draft
animals and source information on joining to assist in pregnancy testing; restrain each
animal for pregnancy testing using humane methods and facilities; detect pregnancy
through several manually determined key indicators; maintain records of pregnancy
testing; monitor animals after pregnancy testing. Assessment will consist of written and
practical assessments. On successful competition of this course participants will receive a
Statement of Attainment for AHCLSK408A Pregnancy test animal.

Course Structure
This course is delivered at Emerald Agricultural College's property 'Narayen', Mundubbera
from 8am to 5pm each day. It covers pregnancy testing cattle with assessment consisting
of written and practical assessments.

What to Bring: Suitable outdoor work wear; hat, long sleeve shirt, long pants, enclosed leather
shoes, linen, pillow or swag; towel, water bottle.

Course fees must be paid prior to course commencement to ensure a place. As numbers are strictly limited, a place on this course
will only be confirmed upon receipt of the course fee.
Cancellation Procedure: PLEASE READ CAREFULLY
•A refund of fees paid, less an administrative charge of $20, will be made if the student cancels enrolment five working days or more
prior to the commencement of a course. A full refund of fees will be made if QATC cancels the course.
•No refund will be made if the cancellation is less than 5 working days before the course commences or if a student withdraws or
otherwise does not attend after course commencement.
•By registering for this course, you acknowledge and agree to the above cancellation procedure. Please read carefully. *The
College reserves the right to cancel a course if minimum numbers are not reached.
