First Steps with Quales
1. Recommendations

IP connectivity
CPU: core i7 or similar
RAM: 4GB
Operating System: Windows 7 and above
Web Browser: Google Chrome recommended
4.1 Nodes
At installation, a default node is created. Edit the existing node or create a
new one assigning points (simultaneous analysis). You can also add additional
nodes, as long as you have the license for it.
To add a node you must complete all information fields shown below.
2. Software installation
To install Quales on a computer, you will need administrator privileges and
execute the MSI installer.
3. Access Quales
The first step to access Quales is opening a web browser. Then type:
http://IP_address:8080 or in case you access from the local machine:
http://localhost:8080
Then introduce user admin and password admin
1.2 Repositories
A repository is the root folder where watchfolders are located. The
repositories can be local or remote when working in a LAN environment. In
order to accept remote repositories, the networked drive should be mapped
in the local machine running Quales.
To create a new repository you must complete all fields shown below.
4. Initial settings: Nodes and Repositories
To begin with the configurations, choose Management, in your drop down
menu choose Nodes option and then Repositories option.
Once these initial configurations are accomplished, you can continue with the
creation of new QC Projects.
