Entries for these classes will not be taken on the day Late entries will be taken on the day, numbers permitting Both rings will run by board order All riders must complete a Horse Health Declaration and Waiver prior to competing All riders in Official Classes (Ring 1) must be current financial members of EA. All horses in Official Classes must be registered with EA All riders in Unofficial Classes (Ring 2) must be current financial members of EA or current financial members of the Queensland Showjumping Club Inc for insurance purposes. Performance cards must be presented to the office before prize money is given in all Official Classes Horses are permitted 3 starts per day Horses who compete in the Young Horse classes are eligible to compete in other height classes APRIL GOLD CUP SHOW - This event is run under EA regulations - All classes are mounted presentation - The Organizing Committee encourages all riders to be dressed according to FEI dress standards. Australian helmet standards apply, riders must wear helmets and approved riding boots at all times while mounted Amateur - Riders may compete as an Amateur from the beginning of the calendar year in which they turn 21 years of age Amateur riders are riders who: o Must not have competed in an Olympic Games or World Equestrian Games in either Jumping or Eventing o In the past 10 years must not have competed in a World Cup for Jumping Riders qualifying round o Must not have competed in Section 1 or 2 at a Royal Show in Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne, Adelaide, or Perth in the past 2 years o Must never have competed in a 4* 3 Day Event o May not compete in an Amateur class if they compete in a class where the first round is higher than 1.20m at that show o May not compete in an Amateur class on a horse that will compete in any class where the first round is higher than 1.20m at that show Young Horse Classes (4 year old and 5 year old) - Proof of age for horses entered in either young horse class is required (EA registration, relevant breed society, Studbook record) All young horse entries must be in before the event close date so that age can be confirmed EA back boot rules apply Classes will be conducted over two rounds, there will be one jump-off not against the clock (ideal time) for those with equality of penalties for first place.
