Department of Classics Travel Grant
2015 Application
Established in January 2010 by friends of the Department of Classics, the grant is available to contribute to the support of field
research that must be carried out at a considerable distance from Queen’s University. Granted to graduate students or senior
undergraduate students registered in the Department of Classics, on the basis of academic merit and the feasibility of the
proposed field study research described within the application below. Selection will be made by the Department of Classics
Awards Committee. Award winners should note that the award will first be applied to the student’s fee account should there
be any outstanding fees. The full amount of the award (or the balance after outstanding fees are paid) will be forwarded to
the recipient in a cheque or deposited to the student’s online-listed bank account.
