Points to Remember
ƒƒ Speed limit of 20kph in carparks.
ƒƒ The University’s Parking Attendant and Security Officers are
empowered to issue infringement notices to vehicles that
fail to comply with the University’s parking requirements.
All infringement notices are administered
and processed by Darebin City Council.
The Infringement Court is used to process outstanding
infringement notices.
ƒƒ Display your permit prominently and according to permit
instructions. Permits that are obscured from observation may
incur an infringement notice.
ƒƒ Never park outside a marked bay.
ƒƒ Except for Reserved Parking the University gives no
undertaking that a space will be available in any particular
area. The responsibility of finding an authorised parking space
rests with the driver.
ƒƒ If you are unable to display your permit, you will need to
purchase a day permit from one of the vending machines.
This will give you time to make alternative arrangements and
also prevent an infringement being served on your vehicle.
