TRADITIONAL STYLE
AKONA EPOXY SUP’s use high quality EPS foam and
epoxy. The combination of these materials allow us
to create the strongest, most lightweight and durable Epoxy SUP possible. All of our SUP boards have
a durable three layer 6 ounce epoxy glass deck and
two layer 6 ounce epoxy glass bottom over 2 lb/
ft² EPS core. A final protective clear coat is applied
and polished to give the final product a high gloss,
attractive look.
All AKONA boards feature a self breathing Gor-tex
valve and offset handle for easy pick up/carrying as
well as 3 fin thruster set up for stability and tracking and added Go-Pro mount on the nose of the
board so paddler has the ability to capture those
unforgettable moments.

Fibreglass Laminated Sandwich Construction with an
EPS Foam Inner Core. This layering technique allows
for a super durable board in terms of impact resistance, yet still being an extremely lightweight board,
which is quite unique. It’s a great board for entry
riders and mid level riders, super stable, with good
performance in waves also.

60/240 grit sand pad.
A thin-paste mixture of clear, polyester
resin and chop-strand glass fibers. Cures
either by UV light in approx 3 minutes or
by MEKP catalyst in 30 minutes. Sufficient
for about twenty 1” round dings to the
outer fiberglass shell.
