PROPRIETOR’S NAME: Partnership business.
BUSINESS ACTIVITY: Barbing saloon is a place made for barbing, carving,
combing, dying hair color, hair washing and other hair related services.
AIMS: To let the business grow wide in order to make ourselves employed for day
to day expenses. An example is generating income, registration fees, handout,
recharge cards, buying clothes, and other life needs.
OBJECTIVES: objective is getting an average amount of N500, 000 a year,
where each of us can earn about N15, 000 a month, and about N3,500 a week,
sometimes beyond or less depending on how the business goes.
MARKET SIZE AND GROWTH: The business is relatively small and managed
by three people, so the total income have to be shared among those three people,
but due to increase in customers, the good location and a welcoming face, the
business will hopefully grow more bigger in the next year, moreover using other
peoples weakness we can make our business bigger and super power. Services in a
subsidized rate can also attract more customers from different shops.

 THE LOOK BABERS
 STRENGTHS: The Look barbers is widely known due the long time it took
in service, it is well known, decorated and varieties of services.
 WEAKNESSES: The Look barbers services are expensive, unwelcoming
face, and do not like much queue.
 TRADITIONAL BARBING SALOON.
 STRENGTHS: Just like the Look barbers, it has a lot of customers
especially the old and responsible people do accept their services there. They
do things according to traditional so old men’s living in the area like visiting
them on time.
 WEAKNESSES: They do not offer services like hair coloring, shampoo,
modern barbing styles, and do not use musical and media equipment’s.
OUR BUSINESS
 STRENGTH: We offer all types of hair services and use musical and media
equipment’s, our shop is very welcoming and not disturbed by a large
number of queue. We open very early in the morning for students and close
very late for workers, we also open in the weekends and working days.

 WEAKNESSES: We sometimes have afternoon lectures where one or two
of us might not be present in the saloon. One of us has wife, so goes to home
rarely and might not come out early.
COMPETITORS ADVANTAGES:
 When one of us is off for lectures, The Look barbers can use that
advantage to draw some customers since the number of service
offered is less.
 The married man gives services to matured people, so when he went
home traditional barbing saloon get customers.
 Due to young people and the music we use and modern barbing styles,
the matured men leave to traditional barbing saloon.
 Because we use some current and updated barbing styles, our
competitor copies the business.
PROPOSED CUSTOMERS.
 Many students from polytechnic.
 Our class and school mates.
 Students from Federal University Dutse.
 Youths from Gida dubu, G9 quarters, 60 houses commissioners’ quarters,
Indian quarters and much more.
 Have customers like chairman, permanent secretaries, commissioners, and
some other rank holders.

ADVERTISEMENT AND PROMOTION STRATEGIES.
Advantage of being information technology students let us create a Facebook page
and groups which allows us to advertise all our services and identifies our location.
We also send some audio and video tapes to be played in broadcasting houses as an
advertisement strategy. We also placed some sign boards at road side to guide
customers to our shop.
PREMISES: Is a shop which is 70 by 60 meters, and was given to us by the
manager of our service, so we don’t pay rent and no tax.
EQUIPMENTS: Clipper, brush, comb, towel, mirror, chairs, tables, carpet,
blades, oil, lubricant, powder, generator, pesters, prize list, speaker, television,
Dstv, DVD, hydrogen, spirit, shampoo, dye gloves, glass scissors, razor blade, dust

MANAGER: Has diploma in INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY and took training
at special barbing saloon, he offered a complete year service at special Barbing
saloon at Kano State, Wudil L.G.A. he also had different industrial experience for
some time.

 STRENGTH: Youths likes his services because he is very good in combing
and barbing, he is also good in record keeping and can recall things at an
instant.

deficiency, so goes out usually for food and can spend a lot.
