Spring Break Movie- The Boxtrolls
Thursday, April 2nd @2pm (Ages 4+)
If you are home for spring break…why not spend an afternoon at the Raritan Public Library
watching The Box Trolls with your friends and family?! Join us in the showing of this
warmhearted movie about a quirky underworld of mischievous BoxTrolls and an orphan, named
Eggs, who will stop at nothing to protect them from villainous Archibald Snatcher! Enjoy snacks
and refreshments! Runtime: 1 hr 40 mins.
Wii U Super Smash Brothers Amiibo Night with Brendan
Monday, April 6th @ 6:30pm (Ages 7+)
Come spend an hour with us playing Super Smash Brothers for the Wii U and bring an
Amiibo to face off against other players and their Amiibo. Amiibo are Nintendo figures
that you can use to store a Smash fighter’s data on and train it to fight like you or better.
We will allow players to bring in 1 Amiibo each to fight against other players or Amiibo. This
is a great chance to train your Amiibo against other players and to see what Amiibo are like
in action. Players are responsible for their own Amiibo so please keep a close eye on your
Amiibo if you bring one.
National Gardening Week with Ms. Christine
Monday, April 13th @6pm (Ages 4+)
Stop by to see what books are in bloom and enjoy stories about the butterflies in the
garden. Bring home your own butterfly terrarium to enjoy.
Jedi Fencing with O-PA! Academy
Saturday, April 18 @1pm (Ages K-5)
Join us at The Raritan Public Library as the O-PA! Academy introduces your child to the
sport of fencing in a safe, non-competitive, & fun environment. O-PA! Jedi Academy
offers a balanced approach with fencing activities and games that improve fitness,
balance, focus, discipline, strategic thinking, problem-solving skills and confidence! Space
is limited, registration is required.
Ladybugs with Ms. Christine
Monday, April 27th @6p (Ages 4+)
Get lucky with a book at the Raritan Library. Stop by to hear some stories about
those lucky ladybugs and bring home your own pet rock ladybug.
Minecraft Party with Brendan
Monday, April 27th @6:30pm (Ages 8+)
Come spend one hour with us playing Minecraft on the Xbox 360 in groups of four in
creative or survival mode. Note that this is only a 1 hour program so space and
playtime is limited to allow everyone to play, but children can sign up to watch as well.

Million Minute Reading Club
Need to earn your million minutes of reading but you are just not in the mood to
read?...Then sit back and let Ms. Amy read TO YOU! Join us at the RPL every Thursday,
from 4 to 4:45pm. Miss Amy will read several stories that you will be able to record on
your reading log! Feel free to stay and read independently. Registration is required.
Group Homework Help
Children grades K-4 are welcome to come in with their parents every Monday and
Tuesday from 3:30 to 5pm. Miss Amy will walk around helping children and their
parents with any homework questions you may have. There are no longer one-on-one
sessions. Registration is NOT required.
LEGO PARTY
Take a little time out of your busy week and join us at the Raritan Public library.

Join us at the Raritan Public Library for a variety of Spring Crafts or our ever so popular,
Duct Tape flower pens! Enjoy spending an hour at the library with your friends while
choosing from a variety of crafts. You may choose to do a craft or make a duct tape rose
pen. If time allows, you may do both.
