Movie Night -The Penguins of Madagascar
Wednesday, May 6th @6pm (Ages 4+)
Join us at the Raritan Public Library for this hilarious film! Watch as Skipper,
Kowalski, Rico and Private join forces with undercover organization, The North
Wind, to stop the villainous Dr. Octavius Brine from destroying the world as we
know it. Snacks and drinks will be provided. Registration is required. Run time: 1hr
and 32 mins.
Minecraft Party with Brendan
Wednesday, May 13th @6:30pm (Ages 8+)
Come spend one hour with us playing Minecraft on the Xbox 360 in groups of four in
creative or survival mode. Note that this is only a 1 hour program so space and
playtime is limited to allow everyone to play, but children can sign up to watch as
well.
Butterflies with Ms. Christine
Monday, May 11th @6pm (Ages 4+)
Butterflies are all a flutter at the Raritan Library. Come spread your wings and
listen to some stories and take home your own butterfly craft. Registration is
required.
Wii U Super Smash Brothers Amiibo Night with Brendan
Monday, May 18th @6:30pm (Ages 8+)
Come spend an hour with us playing Super Smash Brothers for the Wii U and
bring an Amiibo to face off against other players and their Amiibo. Amiibo are
Nintendo figures that you can use to store a Smash fighter’s data on and train
it to fight like you or better. We will allow players to bring in 1 Amiibo each to
fight against other players or Amiibo. This is a great chance to train your
Amiibo against other players and to see what Amiibo are like in action. Players
are responsible for their own Amiibo so please keep a close eye on your Amiibo
if you bring one. Registration is required.
LEGO PARTY
Take a little time out of your busy week and join us at the Raritan Public library.
Talk with your friends and build awesome Lego creations!

Bedtime Stories with Ms. Amy
Wednesday, May 27th @6:30pm (Ages 4+)
Join us at the Library for some of Ms. Amy’s favorite bedtime stories!
You can even get super cozy and come in your pj’s if you would like! ...
Ms. Amy may even wear hers! After the stories, please stay for a small
bedtime snack and refreshment. Registration is required.

Million Minute Reading Club
Need to earn your million minutes of reading but you are just not in the mood to
read?...Then sit back and let Ms. Amy read TO YOU! Join us at the RPL every Thursday,
from 4 to 4:45pm. Miss Amy will read several stories that you will be able to record on
your reading log! Feel free to stay and read independently. Registration is required.
Group Homework Help
Children grades K-4 are welcome to come in with their parents every Monday and
Tuesday from 3:30 to 5pm. Miss Amy will walk around helping children and their
parents with any homework questions you may have. There are no longer one-on-one
sessions. Registration is NOT required.
Sneak peek into our summer of heroes...
This July, we are so excited to have an extra special, extra furry, extra
loveable hero come visit the Raritan Public Library!!! The Seeing Eye of
Morristown will be visiting with specially trained pups to teach us about how they
help others! To thank these mighty little heroes, we would like to send them
home with a care package of necessities. If you are interested in donating,
please stop by the Library to pick up a donation list or look at our website:
