Go Natural With Raymond Linen – Terms & Conditions
PLEASE READ THESE TERMS & CONDITIONS AS MENTIONED BELOW CAREFULLY BEFORE
PARTICIPATING IN THIS ACTIVATION KNOWN AS ‘Go Natural With Raymond Linen’
(HEREINAFTER THE "ACTIVATION"). BY PROCEEDING WITH REGISTRATION AND USE OF THE
ACTIVATION, YOU AGREE TO BE LEGALLY BOUND BY THESE Terms & Conditions. IF YOU DO NOT
AGREE TO THESE Terms &Conditions, PLEASE DO NOT PARTICIPATE IN THE ACTIVATION.
ACTIVATION NAME
1. The ACTIVATION known as "Go Natural With Raymond Linen" shall be governed by the terms
and conditions contained herein below (hereinafter referred to as "ACTIVATION").
2. The ACTIVATION shall run for the period of 8 weeks -61 days commencing from 04 May 2015 at
00:01 hours in the morning and concluding on 31st July 2015 at 00:00 hours in the night (both
days inclusive) (hereinafter referred as the "ACTIVATION Period"). For the purpose of this
ACTIVATION, week shall mean starting from Monday and ending on Sunday.
3. The ACTIVATION is valid only in India.
ORGANIZERS AND PARTICIPANTS
4. The ACTIVATION is open only to Indian citizens (individuals), residing in India aged 18 years or
above.
5. The ACTIVATION is organized and managed for the Customers of Raymond Limited (hereinafter
referred to as Raymond). Customers of Raymond shall mean any customer who shall purchase
any Raymond Linen product/s and/ or is interested in Raymond Linen Products (not inclusive of
FMCG products by Raymond but inclusive of all Linen products available at The Raymond Shop,
in India), during the ACTIVATION Period.
6. To participate in/register for the ACTIVATION, Customers have to follow the simple steps
specified by the ACTIVATION and share her/ his own thoughts and / or a photograph, in which
the customer may or may not be present himself however the photograph as a property belongs
to the customer, as advised by RAYMOND, as the case may be.
7. Customer acknowledges and agrees that mere participation thus required by the ACTIVATION,
will not make the Customer eligible to any gratifications for the ACTIVATION.
8. It is the relevance of the thoughts shares or photograph shared by the customer for the
ACTIVATION, along with clarity and visibility of the content thus shared as well as complete &
accurate contact details of the customer submitted along with the entry, that makes the
Customer eligible to participate in the ACTIVATION, hereinafter referred to as ‘Participant’
9. Thought shared and/ or Photographs of Participants who have shared valid and true contact
information only will be considered as "eligible entries" which shall be considered for the prizes
if such photographs are in line with the conditions contained herein below.
10. Customers will be required to submit a message that clearly expresses their thought on ‘WHAT
IS THEIR WAY OF FEELING CLOSE TO NATURE’ , during the ACTIVATION period, on the portal or
any other form, as advised by RAYMOND with such details as may be required like name, email
id, contact number etc.
11. The ACTIVATION is neither open for employees, distributors, franchisees, agents and suppliers
of RAYMOND nor for the relatives of such employees, distributors, franchisees, agents, vendors
and suppliers of RAYMOND. For the purpose of the Terms and Conditions of this ACTIVATION,
the term relative shall have the same meaning as contemplated under section 2(41) of the
Income Tax Act, 1961, or as may be determined by RAYMOND at its sole discretion.
12. The participation in the ACTIVATION is purely voluntary. The ACTIVATION will be in the form of
Online activities, that may have been promoted through above the line, online, on ground
media.
PARTICULARS OF ACTIVATION
13. Process for Participation (Thought and or Photograph)
 What does the Customer need to do: Post your picture from the store along with your
message and hash tag the picture with #GoNaturalWithRaymond and post it on:
 Facebook- www.facebook.com/RaymondLimited
 Twitter- tweet from your Twitter handle with #GoNaturalWithRaymond
 Instagram- tag your photograph and message with #GoNaturalWithRaymond and
post on instagram.com/raymond_the_complete_man/
 Microsite- www.raymondindia.com/gonatural
14. The Entries will be judged as eligible for gratifications if any based on the parameter as
contained herein.
15. The Entry thus submitted as ACTIVATION entry shall in no manner be defamatory, derogatory or
negative in nature for Raymond.
16. Any participant may choose to submit multiple entries. However, only one of his entries, if
deemed one of the best by Raymond, can win.
17. Participants agree that they shall not deface or disparage the brand Raymond Limited in any
manner in the process of creating and posting their entries. The entries which fulfil all the above
requirements shall be termed as "Eligible Raymond Linen Entries".
18. Participant also agrees to accept the decision of the judges of the ACTIVATION as final and
binding.
19. The ACTIVATION is for the benefit and encouragement of the Participants and is organized in the
spirit of a Nature supporting activation with the motive of rewarding the Participant for their
skills and innovative thinking and affinity towards nature and the Participants are not entitled to
obtain any professional help for participating in the ACTIVATION. Any entries submitted with aid
and support of such professional help shall be disqualified.
20. In lieu of providing an opportunity to the Participants to participate in the ACTIVATION, the
Participants agree to assign all intellectual property related rights in their photographs/entries
to RAYMOND and authorize RAYMOND to use the entries in any manner whatsoever and in any
forums, media at any frequency it deems appropriate, without any financial or any other
obligation whatsoever, to the Participants.
21. Customer acknowledges that selection of entries as winners shall be at the complete discretion
of RAYMOND. In the event, RAYMOND is unable to view the photograph shared as entry for any
reason whatsoever, the Customer will not be considered as eligible "Participant" and his/her
entry shall not be considered for the said ACTIVATION.
22. There will be no charges to participate in the said ACTIVATION.

PRIZES / WINNERS
Every Customer who is shortlisted as a winner, is eligible for a prize decided by Raymond. The
decision as to availability of such prizes shall be to the sole discretion of RAYMOND and
RAYMOND shall in no event be answerable to the Participant with respect to any queries related
to the availability of stock.
All prizes will be only in form of M-Vouchers.
In case if Raymond has to change the Prize for any winner due to whatever reasons like
technical faults, disability to deliver the M-Voucher due to network instability in the area where
the winner/s reside/s etc. will have to be accepted by such a winner. Any such irregularities will
not make the gratification terms and / or type negotiable or transferable or exchangeable.
At no point of time, the M-Vouchers can be redeemed against cash, by any Raymond entity, for
whatever reasons presented by the winner.
It is specifically agreed and understood by the Customer that he shall forfeit all his rights with
respect to the Prize she/ he has won, in case the Participant cancels/ withdraws/ refuses her/ his
entry / does not respond to the winner selection announcement sent to her/ him to claim his
prize within 15 days of such communication sent to him/ her by Raymond.
28. Prizes by Winner Category for Go Natural Raymond Linen ACTIVATION:
 100 best thoughts/ pictures will be rewarded M-Vouchers worth INR 2,000/- only
each, from Raymond.
29. The M-Voucher, will be shared with the Winner/s via a SMS sent to the mobile number that s/he
submits at the time of participation.
30. The M-Voucher will be a 10 digits, alpha numeric code that will be unique to each winner.
31. In no case will a M-Voucher be reissued to multiple mobile numbers, even though the owner of
such multiple mobile numbers is unique.
32. All M-Vouchers have been made redeemable across any of The Raymond Shop outlets, within
India only.
33. All M-Vouchers thus issued, are valid till 31 July 2015.
34. The M-Vouchers can be redeemed against purchase of Raymond Fine Fabrics, any range that the
winner selects at the store, available at The Raymond Shop, across India.
35. The difference in cost, after deducting the M-Voucher value from the total Invoice value of the
purchase, will have to be borne by the winner.
36. In no circumstances, a M-Voucher can be exchanged for cash and/ or be transferred to any third
party.
37. The M-Vouchers are eligible for a cost deduction, up to the value of the M-Voucher being
redeemed, against a single transaction. The M-Voucher cannot be used for multiple
transactions.
38. The M-Vouchers are not valid for redemption against fabric/s that may be are available on a
pre-discounted value at that Store. Also the MVoucher cannot be clubbed with any other offer,
running The Raymond Shop and/ or as part of any promotions or services of Raymond Limited.
39. In case if there are multiple entries by the same Customer, the latest entry sent by the customer
will be considered for eligibility for being shortlisted as well as being selected for winning. If
there are two or more Participants with similar / same thoughts and/ or photographs who have
been shortlisted, then the Participant who has best slogan first in point of time as per
RAYMOND records will be considered by RAYMOND as winner for the specific prize.
40. The decision of RAYMOND shall be final and binding on the Participants of the ACTIVATION.
RAYMOND shall entertain no dispute in this respect.
41. The Participants understand that though the prize/s under the ACTIVATION are sponsored and
provided by RAYMOND, RAYMOND shall not be held responsible or liable for non-delivery or
damage to the prize/s during transit and all the legal remedies in relation to the prizes shall
solely lie with the winner.
42. The ACTIVATION winners, will be intimated within 15 (fifteen) business days of the conclusion of
the month, by way of email on the email id of the winner or by any other medium deemed
appropriate by RAYMOND on the applicable platforms, including by way of a SMS.
43. It is specifically understood by the Customers / Participants that RAYMOND shall not be liable in
any manner for any calls/ SMSes made to the Customers / Participants with respect to the
ACTIVATION, notwithstanding their telephone number being registered under National Do Not
Call Registry (NDNC).
44. In the event that any M-Voucher issued to a winner is not redeemed on or before 31 July 2015,
such M-Vouchers stand nullified and then his prize stands forfeited.
45. Raymond will not be liable for not having successfully delivered the winning communication
SMS to any winners.
46. In the event of the winner responding that he/she has changed his/her mobile number on which
to receive the winning SMS, then in that case such participant/s are advised to hold the mobile
number shared along with the ENTRY, till the end of the Activation; just in case if s/he is selected
as winner.
47. The prize/s will be distributed to the winners by RAYMOND as per the conditions mentioned
above. The logistics and cost of delivering the prize/s will be borne by the RAYMOND.
48. Apart from the entitlement to the above prize/s, the winners and/or their representatives, legal
heirs will have no other rights or claims against RAYMOND.
49. The prizes are non-endorsable, not transferable and non-substitutable. The prizes are offered on
'NO EXCHANGE NO REFUND' basis. All the prize(s) shall be subject to such other terms and
conditions as may be applicable.
50. The ACTIVATION cannot be clubbed with any other ACTIVATION or offer.
51. The prize/s of the ACTIVATION will be given only to the winner/s in whose name the
ACTIVATION Entry was received.
OTHER CONDITIONS
52. The Participant hereby understands and gives his/ her irrevocable consent for personal
information relating to the Participant to be used by RAYMOND for publishing and/or
communicating to/in any media that it may deem fit, and RAYMOND may, at their sole
discretion choose to publish or disclose the name(s), phone number(s), score(s) of all the
Participants, if required and deemed fit.
53. RAYMOND will not be responsible for any loss, damage, claimed/demanded by the
Participant/Customer due to any of the following reasons:a. Participant/Customer is unable to submit the ACTIVATION Entry for whatever reasons
on the portal or social media channel.
b. Participant/Customer sends the thought and/ or photograph but with
wrong/improper/inappropriate personal information and contact information;
c. Participant/Customer is unable to understand the terms and conditions of the
ACTIVATION;
d. Participant/Customer is unable to understand the process of participation or is unable
to participate in the ACTIVATION;
e. Participant/Customer is declared as a winner but is aged less than 18 years of age or is
incompetent to enter into a contract;
f. Any other reason, event, error or incidence not within the control of RAYMOND.
g. Participant's/Customer's photograph/ Entry is not found eligible by RAYMOND. The list
of factors is illustrative and not exhaustive.
54. RAYMOND reserves the right to terminate, modify or extend this ACTIVATION at any time at its
absolute discretion, without notice to the Customers.
55. The prize/s shall be subject to the laws of India, including all the tax laws. All applicable
regulatory and statutory duties, cess, surcharges, taxes (including TDS), insurances, transfer
fees, registration fees etc. that may be applicable to avail/use the prize/s will be borne by the
winner.
56. RAYMOND shall not be liable for any failure to comply with its obligations contained herein,
caused by weather conditions, fire, flood, strike, hurricane, industrial dispute, war, hostilities,
political unrest, riots, civil commotion, terrorist attack, inevitable accidents, acts of god or any
other circumstances amounting to Force Majeure.
57. RAYMOND shall not be responsible for any loss or damage if it has to discontinue or cancel this
ACTIVATION in compliance with any law, ruling, order, regulation, circular, notification,
requirement or instruction of any Central/State Government or for any other unavoidable
reason beyond its control. The Participants shall be informed of such
discontinuance/cancellation as soon as possible, through the RaymondSelect.com website.
58. The participation in this ACTIVATION implies unconditional acceptance of all the terms and
conditions of the ACTIVATION by the Customers/Participants.
59. The decision of RAYMOND as to the interpretation of any of these terms and conditions shall be
final and binding on the Participants.
60. Any disputes with regard to the ACTIVATION, will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the
courts in Mumbai, India.
61. RAYMOND shall not be responsible if the Customer is unable to participate in the ACTIVATION
due to network failure, network congestion, network unavailability or any such technical issues
faced by the Customer.
62. If any provision of these terms and conditions is found to be invalid by any court having
competent jurisdiction the invalidity of such provision shall not affect the validity of the
remaining provisions of these terms and conditions, which shall remain in full force and effect.
63. RAYMOND is neither responsible nor guarantees the quality of the goods/services being offered
as prize(s) nor is it liable for any defect in the goods/services so obtained/availed in the prizes,
by the Participant under this ACTIVATION.
64. Subject to any applicable law (a) All warranties of any kind whatsoever, whether express or
implied, are hereby expressly DISCLAIMED by RAYMOND including, but not limited to, meeting
of the Participant's requirements or aspirations, timeliness, security, the results or reliability of
any ACTIVATION, or the delivery, quality, quantity, merchantability, fitness for use or noninfringement in respect of any goods, services, benefits or awards acquired or obtained through
the ACTIVATION or any transactions effected through the ACTIVATION; (b) The Participant
expressly agrees that his/her participation in the ACTIVATION offered by RAYMOND is at the
Participant's sole risk and is governed by the Terms and Conditions herein; and (c) No advice or
information whether by representations, oral, written or pictorial derived from the website or
through the ACTIVATION shall be construed to mean the giving of any warranty of any kind by
RAYMOND.
65. The Participant agrees to indemnify the RAYMOND, their officers, directors and affiliates against
any claims including third party claims, disputes, actions, liabilities and damages that may arise
as a result of act or omissions of the Participants, on account of (i) Participant's breach of these
T&C of this ACTIVATION, (ii) submission of incorrect personal information and /or (iii)
Participant's failure to comply with applicable laws.
66. The receipt of these Terms and Conditions shall be deemed to be acceptance of the same and
the fact that these terms and conditions are not physically and actually signed by the Participant
shall have no bearing on the acceptance of these terms and conditions.
Mobility and third party services related conditions:
67. Raymond will take support of third party partner/s, for mobility related services and M-Voucher
redemption related services.
68. Raymond and / or such third party partner/s will not be responsible to Downtime on services
that can occur due to decisions and changes in regulations that are carried out by TRAI , DoT or
any other regulatory body.
69. Each of such third party partner is dependent on external groups of services and other internal
groups within the brand of services (i.e., help desk, database services, Agencies, 3rd Party
Service Providers etc.), and external suppliers (i.e. Tele Com Providers, Internet Service
Providers, SMS Aggregators) in providing application support services to the brand team.
70. The list of organizations and vendors that Raymond and the third party partners are dependent
on, may change during the term of this project.
71. Raymond and/or the third party partner/s will not be responsible to downtime caused due to
technical difficulties or downtime created at the telecom providers end not limited to failure of
Hardware Equipment at the telecom providers end, Configuration issues at the end of the
Telecom provides, Network Congestion etc. However these related parties will have to put
reasonable efforts that ensure such issues are resolved by the telecom provider at the earliest.
