Intro
The fleet will arrive in the 1st half of November on a charter vessel in Road Town commercial port, next to
the Moorings base. We will then truck the cargo to Nanny Cay Marina (http://www.nannycay.com ), where
we will base the event technical area. The RC44 will then be sailed to YCCS marina in the North Sound of
Virgin Gorda on Sunday 22nd and Monday 23rd and come back to Nanny Cay on Monday 30th.
This document will give you some guideline and options for your accommodation bookings in Nanny Cay
during the technical operations and in Virgin Gorda during the race. As the accommodation facilities are
very limited on Virgin Gorda and especially near YCCS Marina, we kindly ask you to book ASAP.
In May 2015, you will receive a technical document, with all the info related to the technical area, facilities,
logistic package, custom, rib rental, visa process… etc.

to the YCCS marina.

o You can sleep in your boat in Tortola on the 22nd before heading to Virgin Gorda on the 23rd in
the morning.
o Before going to Virgin Gorda, you can swing by Nanny Cay to load your sail bags and spares.
o Transit time Tortola/YCCS Marina around 3 hours, 18nm
Disembarkation at Mooring base Tortola: Monday Nov 30th at 12h00 latest
